New York requires a party to poll 50,000 votes for Governor in order to be a qualified party. The Libertarian Party and the Serve America Party both met this goal, so they both become qualified parties for the first time in New York. The Reform Party and the Womens Equality Party both polled substantially fewer than 50,000 votes for Governor, so they will lose their qualified status.

I have no idea what this means.
Was the Reform Party conservative or whacky liberal?
The rest speaks for itself(Womens Equity = Radical Womyns group)
The New York Reform Party was chaired by Curtis Sliwa, radio talk show host and founder of the Guardian Angels. They endorsed Marc Molinaro, the Republican-Conservative candidate.
The WEP was a fiction anyway. It was a “third line” Cuomo created for himself four years ago that barely got 50K then.
The Libertarian Party and the Serve America Movement are the newly qualified parties.
LOL - SAM party !?!?!
I can just see the buttons: SAM I AM
Mam, I’m SAM
News article - “SAM sent SPAM to PAM”
