Sad that it all ended this way.

Guess he became a creature of DC.

We lost his Senate seat and he lost his reputation.

This election is Mueller and Comey’s revenge: not as harsh as they wanted, but they caused it. Their constant undermining of Trump and the resulting media madness led to much of the losses. And Jeff Sessions leaving. He could have shown some guts and reined it all in. Now Trump has to do that.

Really sad. Ugly what DC does to people. All he could do was squawk “Ah ain’t guilty! Ah ain’t guilty!”. Pathetic.

I guess we don’t know what the real story is.

I reserved judgment for quite a while, because Trump picked him and stood by him for a long time; and in the beginning, Alabama folks here had faith in him.

But after awhile, one had to wonder why he wasn’t taking initiative on issues that really mattered.

I think Trump is the sort of person who takes people at face value and trusts them - until they prove that they can’t be relied upon. Then, he calculates his plan of action.

I understand that.
