Hey, it worked when they did it to George Bush. They have to have the experience of the demonization failing before they will try something else.
Unfortunately, the issues of open immigration and nationalized health care seem to be working well enough for them, so they have something they can hang on along with the Trump hate. It’s going to be a rough road ahead, we’re going to have to win some people over.
