FULL TITLE: She Exposed Planned Parenthoods Aborted Baby Part Sales, Now Marsha Blackburns Heading to the Senate
Heading to the U.S. Senate is one of Americas strongest political fighters for unborn babies, Marsha Blackburn.
On Tuesday, Tennessee voters elected Blackburn to an open seat in the Senate. There, she promises to continue to be a fierce opponent of the abortion industry and a champion for unborn babies and moms.
She is the first woman elected by Tennessee voters to the U.S. Senate and a conservative woman to boot, Blackburn declared proudly in her victory speech.
Just as I said on day one of this campaign, I was running to take those values that we share and to work in D.C. on the things that you want to see done: more constitutional judges, lower taxes, less regulation, making certain that we protect life she said Tuesday night.
An eight-term congresswoman, Blackburn is well-known for leading the U.S. House investigation of the abortion industrys alleged sales of aborted baby body parts.
Despite pro-abortion Democrats repeated attempts to dismantle the panel, Blackburn persisted in trying to discover the truth about the goings-on inside Planned Parenthood. Under her leadership, the panel concluded by making 15 criminal and regulatory referrals to state and federal authorities, seeking further investigations and possible prosecutions of five Planned Parenthood affiliates, three human tissue procurement companies, the University of New Mexico, and three other late-term abortion facilities.
It is my hope that our recommendations will result in some necessary changes within both the abortion and fetal tissue procurement industries. Our hope is that these changes will both protect women and their unborn children, as well as the integrity of scientific research, Blackburn said when the panel released its findings in 2017.
SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately
In December 2017, the U.S. Department of Justice launched an investigation of the abortion industry in response to these findings.
Her passionate advocacy for the unborn also gained national attention in 2014 when she brought a picture of her unborn grandson to Capitol Hill. Displaying the ultrasound image before the U.S. Senate, she spoke out against a radical pro-abortion bill that could have wiped out nearly all state and federal laws limiting abortion.
This is the wonder of science, Blackburn said. I could see his arms and legs. I could see him peacefully resting in his mothers womb.
Through the years, she also has fought to defund the abortion giant Planned Parenthood. One defunding measure almost became law this year, but the effort was narrowly thwarted by a few pro-abortion Republicans and so-called pro-life Democrats who voted against it.
Abortion activists repeatedly have attacked Blackburn for her work. They have labeled her a Planned Parenthood antagonist and firebrand, and tried to unseat her in 2016 as well.
A Blackburn victory would elevate one of the GOPs most proactive abortion rights opponents from the tempestuous U.S. House of Representatives to the traditionally more even-keeled Senate, pro-abortion writer Christine Grimaldi wrote when Blackburn announced her Senate campaign.
But the Tennessee Republican responded boldly to these attacks. In 2016, she blasted the radical pro-abortion group NARAL as anti-life extremists. NARAL claims to be pro-choice, but it attacks charities that provide women with pregnancy and parenting support.
I know the left calls me a wing-nut or a knuckle-dragging conservative, Blackburn said previously, CNN reports. And you know what? I say, thats all right, bring it on. Im 100-percent pro-life. I fought Planned Parenthood and we stopped the sale of baby body parts, thank God.
Blackburn has a 100-percent pro-life voting record and has sponsored and co-sponsored a number of pro-life bills. Back in 2013, she sponsored the first pro-life bill of the 113th Congress, which would have defunded Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses of taxpayer dollars. The move came after a Planned Parenthood lobbyist publicly endorsed post-birth abortions, or infanticide. She also co-sponsored a bill to provide more support for pregnant and parenting moms who choose life for their unborn babies.
She received the endorsement of the National Right to Life Committee and other pro-life groups.
I’m very happy for Tennessee.
Her statements during the “PP selling parts for profit” (G-d blesd Project Veritas) hearings in Congress were riveting, for lack of a better word.

PRESS RELEASE-—CONGRESSMAN MARSHA BLACKBURN / 7TH DISTRICT OF TENNESSEE
The Select Investigative Panel Releases Final Report
January 4, 2017 | Stefanie.wheeler@mail.house.gov Tele 202-225-2811
The House Select Investigative Panel has concluded its yearlong investigation and released its Final Report which can be read in full here (link at Blackburn’s web site).
The report details many of the disturbing practices the Panel uncovered in the abortion industry with the selling of fetal tissue along with information regarding our public hearings, subpoenas, criminal and regulatory referrals. Also included is the listing of recommendations for improving access to appropriate scientific models, including human fetal tissue when warranted, in order to promote the advancement of science and the development of novel therapies.
It was an honor to Chair the Select Investigative Panel. I want to thank my colleagues who are strong pro-life leaders and have worked tirelessly over the past year. It is my hope that our recommendations will result in some necessary changes within both the abortion and fetal tissue procurement industries. Our hope is that these changes will both protect women and their unborn children, as well as the integrity of scientific research, said Chairman Marsha Blackburn.
Over the last year, the Select Panels relentless fact-finding investigation has laid bare the grisly reality of an abortion industry that is driven by profit, unconcerned by matters of basic ethics and, too often, noncompliant with the few laws we have to protect the safety of women and their unborn children. I have never shied away from my own pro-life views, but the findings of this panel should incense all people of conscience, said Congressman Diane Black.
It has been a privilege to serve on this Panel alongside such dedicated members in pursuit of the truth. I applaud the diligent work the Select Panel did in investigating the callous practices of abortion providers, the nefarious dealings of the tissue procurement industry, and the atrocious disregard for the privacy and wellbeing of patients. The American people deserve to know these facts so responsible decisions can be made about research that respects women and protects life. I truly wish this investigation hadnt been necessary, but I am comforted and gratified knowing our work uncovered some truths I am hopeful will better inform Americans everywhere, lead to the preservation of life, and promote the safety and wellbeing of women, said Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler.
It has been an honor to serve on the Select Investigative Committee on Infant Lives. The committees work uncovered aspects of the fetal tissue industry few people knew about, and I look forward to tracking the progress of the criminal referrals. We must protect the unborn, and every citizens God-given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, said Congresswoman Mia Love
This select panel conducted a thorough and fact-based investigation to provide the American people answers and to hold those who facilitated these horrendous practices accountable, said Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. As a physician who has operated on babies as young as 22 weeks gestation, I am proud of our work on behalf of the most vulnerable among us to protect the lives of the unborn from an industry that puts profits before the value and dignity of human life.
The Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives succeeded in uncovering shameful practices, which undermined the very foundations of ethical American scientific research and have led to 15 criminal and regulatory referrals. Over the course of its year-long investigation of fetal tissue procurement companies and abortion businesses, the Select Panel found evidence that several tissue procurement companies and abortion clinics may have violated federal felony laws prohibiting the sale of human fetal tissue. As a physician and researcher, it is my sincere hope that our investigation and the subsequent referrals have put an end to these shady and unethical practices, said Congressman Andy Harris, M.D.
“Im honored to have served on the Select Panel on Infant Lives because it played a pivotal role in uncovering the big business that is the fetal tissue procurement industry. In the course of our investigation, our panel requested the banking and accounting records from many institutions to verify those businesses activities. Although many complied, StemExpress, a major procurement business, did not. I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure that they are held accountable in the 115th Congress,” said Congressman Sean Duffy.
“The Select Investigative Panel has worked hard to uncover the illegal and highly repulsive activities of the organizations involved in the sale and trafficking of baby body parts. Now it is up to the judicial system to hold the perpetrators accountable and up to Congress and the new Administration to see that these heinous acts are continued no longer. The way we treat our young, our weak, and our voiceless does matter. History will hold us accountable for these atrocities,” said Congressman Joseph R. Pitts.

Put her on the Senate judiciary committee. She can take Flakeys seat. Republicans need a woman.
Remember when it the "kind-hearted and compassionate"
Clintons (Bill was then-President) assured us that abortion would be
"safe, legal and rare?"
============================================
Oops. The kindly Clintons plumb "forgot" to mention that they
themselves opened the gates so that Planned Parenthood could traffic
(and profit) in baby body parts.
(EXCERPT--WND.COM). Then-Pres Clinton is credited w/ opening up the market in fetal body parts. Since Clinton signed the National Institutes of Health Revitalization Act of 1993, fetal-tissue research has expanded into a federally subsidized multi-million dollar industry of selling human spare parts salvaged from abortions.
For example, the NIH budgeted $21 million in fiscal year 1999 for grants and awards for fetal tissue research. At the University of Washington, the NIH subsidizes the central laboratory for human embryology.
According to a lab notice obtained by WorldNetDaily, it can supply tissue from normal or abnormal embryos and fetuses of desired gestational ages between 40 days to term. Specimens are obtained within minutes of passage, and tissues are aseptically identified, staged, and immediately processed according to the requirements of individual investigators. The notice is signed by Alan G. Fantel of the department of pediatrics.
At the time, two organizations that profited from this growth industry were (the now defunct) Opening Lines, a business formerly located in West Frankfort, Illinois...... and Anatomic Gift Foundation, headquartered in Laurel, Maryland.
Opening Lines gives credit to President Clinton for opening up the lucrative business in fetal tissue trade.
According to Opening Lines, on January 22, 1993, Clinton lifted the moratorium on federal funding. This action created a great demand for fetal tissue and has made possible the development of treatments for individuals afflicted with serious diseases and disorders, says the sales brochure.
Both companies served as wholesalers for the marketing of baby body parts to researchers, drug companies, hospitals and universities. These groups harvest the baby parts from abortion clinics and ship them to their customers.
Opening Lines provides fetal tissue researchers with a fee for service schedule, which gives prices for each body part. For example, Opening Lines charged:
<><> $150 for a spinal column;
<><> $400 for an intact embryonic cadaver;
<><>$75 for 8-week-old baby's eyeballs (40% discount for a single eye);
<><>$150 for two arms or legs; and,
<><> $100 for the skin of a 12-week-old baby.
They certainly need a woman like her.
My reply would merit a visit from the Secret Service.
Marsha!
Marsha!
Marsha!
The most under reported (solid) win from last night.
Blackburn is a Godsend.
We are lucky to have her here!
At a ladies retreat early in October, a Republican attendee said that maybe Bredesen wouldn’t be so bad. “He SAID he would vote with Trump if the issue is good for Tennessee.” My sister and I both jumped on her (verbally, of course), and said, “But he WON’T. They never do.” She was surprised. She believed is asinine ads. Sadly, I figure that many people are in that group. We assume everyone is a political wonk, but they aren’t.
Perfectly understandable.
Great News Tenn.!!
She will be good for Tenn. & Country!!
Lived in Tenn. for 20 yrs; now in Iowa.
Glad!!!
Amen to that; like I said in post #2, I’m very happy for Tennessee...May Almighty G-d bless and keep you all.
