The Republican is leading by an eyelash, but if that continues its another Senate pickup for Trump and the GOP

Why is Montana so close?! I thought it was a conservative state?
Looks like Montana has been Californicated.
It looks like President Trump’s decision to focus more heavily on US Senate races than on the House was the right call, and it’s paying off.
FROM ANOTHER THREAD and FREEPER willk:
First midterm election for new President:
Clinton 1994
House -54
Senate -8
Obama 2010
House -63
Senate -6
Trump 2018
House -30 (roughly)
Senate +4 or +5
Obama and Clinton didnt have to deal with 40 anti-Trumpers retiring. Otherwise Trump would have probably maintained the house too.

He knew that with 40 members of the R’s retiring most were Never Trumpers and were trying to throw the midterms for the Dems, redistricting, and just pure history working against him.
Tonight could have been worst.
Axios graph, 58% counted. Rosendale ahead by 2800 votes and about a 1% lead. Damned libertarian stole 9000 votes so far.
Why did Manchin win? People have a strange attachment to their dem senators.
Heavy union population (especially Butte) plus Med Turner and Californication
Ah the Libtertarian factor. That makes sense for Montana.
What the hell is the deal with Montana and Arizona being so slow with their results? So incompetent!
the libertarian (may they all rot in hell) un-endorsed rosendale, and is at 3%.
dirty bast*rd.
West Virginia has more white people on welfare than anywhere else in the world. It’s not nearly as conservative as you might think.
If Tester wins it will be because of the Losertarian. I still believe that most Losertarians are conjoled into running by local RATS flattering their egos .
In the case of Arizona, our outgoing Sec of State was a real idiot and she really screwed things up.
The same thing for every state.
The cities.
There’s also redistricting to take into account and if we took out the illegal vote, I’ll bet there would be a lot of different results.
Montana is much like many states these days. The “urban” areas are small geographically compared to the rest of the state but LARGE population wise.
In my state, King County/Seattle out-votes for the rest of the state (there was a day when that area was more balanced vs far left as it is today).
