Trump's campaign had announced the Fox News host as a "special guest" at a Monday night rally.
Fox News host Sean Hannity "will not be on stage campaigning with the president" at a rally on Monday night, a day after Donald Trump's re-election campaign announced him as a "special guest," along with radio host Rush Limbaugh.
On Monday, Hannity cleared up the confusion on Twitter: "In spite of reports, I will be doing a live show from Cape Girardeau and interviewing President Trump before the rally. To be clear, I will not be on stage campaigning with the President. I am covering final rally for my show. Something I have done in every election in the past."
While rebutting "reports," it was Trump's campaign that originally made the announcement. "Today, Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced special guest appearances by conservative media legends Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity at the final stop of President Trump's national midterm campaign tour on Monday, November 5 at 9:00 p.m. CST in Cape Girardeau, Missouri," the campaign said on Sunday.

I had no idea til today that Sara Carter’s husband served in Afghanistan and was blinded..a true American hero God bless them both
He’s a hyperpartisian, SSDD, day in and day out. Just because he’s on our side doesn’t make him any less annoying.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Dig that. I seldom watch any of those shows but when I do I want to reach into the tv and slap him upside the head when he constantly interrupts every guest.
I didn’t know that either and my goodness, it must have been so painful to hear this fool on SNL. Leftists are so immature and in far too many cases heartless too.
I will join you and ask for God’s blessing for Sarah and her husband.
Most likely.
She is an amazing woman and her husband is a true American hero..she wrote about this on twitter but I will link to an article she posted today:
https://saraacarter.com/the-five-simple-words-that-snl-pete-davidson-should-learn-to-say/
“Thank you Dan Crenshaw for your service to our nation.
Thank you Marty for being the best husband any woman could ask for, and thank you America for standing by those who serve.” -— Sarah Carter.
Beautiful, and thank you for sharing. I guess Sarah is one of the reasons that I do listen to Hannity everyday. I always enjoy his guests, especially Sarah.
Is that old windbag still on the air ?
“”Though I havent watched in about 3 or 4 years now since all everyone does is argue :)””
I’m sure you haven’t missed anything. I used to watch his show religiously but anymore - forget it - I can’t take his constant interruptions. That has driven lots of people away. I objected when he started the opening monologue - who in the heck needs a constant recap of the day’s wretched headlines? We heard them all day anyway..sure didn’t need to wrap up the evening with them. Get to the new stories for crying out loud. I know he used to be on at a different time but I’ve lost track with all the changes.. I still miss O’Reilly - sorry!
With Rush on the Stage, nobody will miss Hannity.
Isn’t it funny (peculiar - not ha ha) what annoys us? I like Tammy Bruce a lot but for years she’s had the bad habit of using the word “dynamic” in sentence after sentence and it drove me nuts! She’s appearing on FOX a lot more now and I had forgotten how she’d said it for years on her radio show in L. A. and YEP - the same thing now commenting on TV.
I think I could put together a book on irritating habits of TV commentators or news reporters.
“right now” is a big one...it’s used over and over in 2 minute news stories...
“Right now we’re at the accident scene. Law enforcement is showing up right now. Right now,the traffic is ........”
I yell “right now” while watching that on TV and I know my husband wants to throw something at me!
Beginning every sentence with “Well, look, I mean”.....
Well, for crying out loud, you haven’t said a word yet so how could you mean ANYTHING? That’s a great one of Karl Rove’s and so many others!
Or how about beginning every answer to a question with - SO!!!! “Did you attend the rally?” “So I went to the rally.”
Just posted my reply (#50) to Sarah’s (#14) and I am so glad that I’m not alone in this “being irritated” department... I think we gals need to form our own club here at FR....Things that drive us nuts - because we are perfect!!! Really, truly I am sincerely glad to know that I’m not the only touchy one here. I was getting a complex but now I have run into two others who are bothered the same as I am by these ridiculous utterings or mutterings that people aren’t aware they’re using over and over!
Tammy Bruce is AWESOME. I started listening to her during the OJ trial(Actually met her after the verdict, when there was a protest to the verdict and a march on Brentwood, I was there..it was the only time I ever protested anything, that verdict pissed me off SO badly!) she was very nice, down to earth..back then I believe she was very liberal but always Pro Gun, would talk about how she packs and isn’t afraid to use it..recently she become more Conservative :)
Thank you for posting Sarah. I had no idea about what had happened to Sara Carter’s husband. She is a remarkable lady.
I always thought she was super on the radio. Remember when she went to bat for Dr. Laura when she was getting a bad time from the Hollywood gang of lesbians and gays? Dr. Laura appreciated that a lot and didn’t mind expressing it. I believe they were on the same station if I remember right. Miss them all since we moved away from CA - Bill Handle, Larry Elder, Dr. Laura..Rush was the first one in the morning as we got him at 9 am when I got to my job. I don’t get to hear him as much anymore here in GA as I’m busy with other things at noon and not sitting at a desk any longer since retirement.
Oh! Yes - the OJ trial - remember that time well. I listened to the trial on the radio at my desk at work in OC during the trial, set my VCR at home, watched the tapes at night...wore out the VCR machine.. Absolutely disgusted with the verdict and even worse, my boss came over to my desk to listen when the verdict was read and said, “I never told you this but I always thought he was innocent.” What a jerk. I grabbed my cigarettes and lighter and went outside to blow off steam! Well, it helped!!
I remember during the L. A. riots (Rodney King), Tammy said she got home and went to bed with a bottle of wine and her gun. Never forgot that. I would loved to have met her.
Went to a FR protest in 2001 during the FL contested mess - that was in front of the VA Bldg., in Westwood? Fun...
no-one said he would be “campaigning”. just more media trash talk.\
that said, Hannity is campaigning for Trump on his show right now...from the rally. lol.
I didn’t know this about Sara Carter’s husband either. Thanks for posting...I’ve liked her a lot when she’s been on Hannity....
Thanks - have to shut down here and get to the TV...
Oh I LOVE Larry Elder..the saaaaaaaaaaaaaaage..from South Central..I used to listen to Dr. Laura. I like Dennis Prager I listen to him sometimes too.
I had no idea that FR had a protest in 2001..back then honestly was not really into politics, didn’t even know about this forum til 2008, that is when I really got into politics since I was so opposed to Obama, and that is how I found this place :-)
The OJ verdict, I was so mad, I cried all day long. I had a feeling he would walk, a Downtown LA jury, Garcetti being a total douche moving the trial from Santa Monica where he would have been convicted, to Downtown LA, we all saw it coming. He cowered to the lefty pressure. Im voting tomorrow, of course straight Republican, Cox for Governor, have the proposition list ready to go..the only thing is, for Senate, since its only two lefty douche bags, what do I do, leave it blank? And if I do leave it blank does it make my vote void?
It is true, just watch and see for yourself.
well......I’m watching Hannity give a campaign speech right now at the venue. Does it matter if he’s on the stage or in the press pit? He’s doing a fine job as a warm-up act.
