Sessions basically recused himself from his entire job! The worthless SOB didn’t do a damn thing. He wasted two precious years of potential judicial progress and watched his department get totally destroyed by corruption without making any effort to fix it. Sessions was a Deep State plant from the get go.
Sessions still thinks this is the 1970/80’s DOJ and hasn’t a clue. I think Trump needs to break out of the mold of hiring a former or current DOJ employee. Their culture is ingrained and it is corrupted at this point.
I think the new AG needs to be someone in Trump’s mold, someone who will break the furniture and wreck the place to shake out the corruption, arrogance and smugness that infects the DOJ/FBI.
