Sen. Lindsey Graham said in an interview Monday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions may step down after this week’s midterm elections.
“Jeff will probably step down. We’ll have a new attorney general most likely early next year,” Mr. Graham, South Carolina Republican, said on conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt’s radio program.

Whoever it is, I sure as hell hope they are a cross between King Kong, Godzilla, Mike Tyson, Jesse James, and Wyatt Earp...Not the squishy little sponge that has been occupying the job...Ugly, mean, and nasty...That is who should get the job next. NO MORE MR. NICE GUYS!!!!
Graham and Trump are close allies. They talk frequently, and Graham is laying out the story line before it happens. Trump is not dumb. Graham is probably Trump's closest ally now in the Senate.
Graham only gets Judiciary if Grassley goes to Finance. Since Grassley came from Finance Chair, it would seem unlikely. But deals can be made, no doubt.
If he steps down it will strip away all cover the Senate RINO’s have to filibuster his replacement.
Encouraged to look for other opportunities is what its called now!

Graham seems like a born sycophant. Until recently he was the toady to John McCain and was naturally a vocal advocate for “bipartisan” initiatives that amounted to backstabbing and betrayal of all things conservative. Then McCain died. A sycophant without a star to gravitate to and rotate around is a lost soul. It seems that he’s latched onto Trump as his new idol. Overnight he’s transformed into a fire breathing conservative fighter. Could all be fakery but at the very least it’s possible that as a temporary Trump ally and former Sessions colleague he may well be privy to a behind the scenes deal cut where Sessions “steps down” rather than being fired, and that gives people like Graham, who said that if Sessions is fired there would be hell to pay, room to walk that back.
