If the poll is not of lIKELY voters it tells you even less than nothing.. whenever you ask “americans” the generic ballot questions, D’s always come out on top by a good margin.

Generic Ballot Polling even when limited to likely voters tells you little more than a general indicator of national trending, at best in a midterm.... It TELLS you NOTHING about how the individual house races will turn out

Those women are not blind to the Opioid disaster and how it has affected their friends and families.

They are far from being immune from the disaster of Illegalism.

That’s right. I was wrong about Senator Roy Moore and Congressman Rick Saccone. To think I was a fool to say that Doug Jones and Connor Lamb would win.

I’m committed to go out and vote straight party R.
Even though I think the races here in PA are a lost cause, and I truly loathe and detest some of the candidates.

This is war.

The point about governors is valid but redistricting takes place in 2021, not 2020 — the Census reapportionment data doesn’t even come out until December of 2020 at the earliest — so it will be the state legislators elected in 2020 (not 2018, except those with 4-year terms) who will determine the districts used in 2022 through 2030.

BTW, many states have ceded their redistricting authority to judges or “non-partisan” (i.e. Democrat-controlled) commissions and it is no longer controlled by governors or legislatures.

Shame with Lou Barletta. He’s a good guy. It’s hard to believe he could be down so much. Did he run a bad campaign?

Why doesn’t the GOP have busses at schools and churches to take republican voters to the polls? The GOP gets rolled on the ground game every election.

In Florida the Supreme Court ruled that the next governor will be able to appoint 3 judges to the state supreme court. So packing the court with left leaning judges will adversely effect redistricting plus the governor signs off on the redistricting, if Gillum is elected.

If Democrats are unhappy with how the legislature draws the lines, they will likely contest the proposed drawings and file a lawsuit. Assuming that this happens, the case could end up in the Supreme Court, at which time the Democrats will submit their proposed districts to the far left-leaning court. These districts will likely favor a shift in the balance of power to the Democrats.

Agreed.

The ministers of globalism who own Wall St are not on the same train as traditional conservatism, believers in borders, national sovereignty, and free markets. Most are diehard subscribers to crony capitalism where market risk is subsidized by taxpayers. Open door immigration is used to distort the right of American labor to benefit (also) by the law of supply and demand. The insiders and financial elites then get richer on the backs of the middle class. That is where our middle class has gone.

I understand a generic ballot, but that is useless in 500 races. A dem is running unopposed in my district. A few calls here would be enough to skew the results.

This is all basic statistics. And it literally is not relevant.
