“Far from a sure thing” means they’re screwed and they know it, they’re just pretending they aren’t screwed so they can claim THE ELECTION WAS STOLEN again.
Yes, the only question is by whom this time. Blaming the Russians is a bit stale at this point, but I could see them doing it again....and then psychotically calling for war with them. Blaming China is out of the question -- too many close ties, financial and ideological. They'd love to blame Bibi / Israel, but that'd risk alienating some big donors. So I'm going to go with the Dems blaming Trump's "fear-inducing racist rhetoric" for influencing fence-sitting voters.
They do know it, and that means they’ve got double secret polls (not being published) telling them so.
“Far from a sure thing means theyre screwed and they know it,”

BINGO! The ole hedge psy-ops in a sentence routine.
It’s almost like saying “Sweetheart, it’s not you..it’s me”
I'm not so sure. I have a ring-side seat here in outstate Michigan and I've failed to see what I called "White Pickup Truck" voters in 2016; White 20-30 Aged Males driving white work trucks.
They all begged for Trump Yard Signs! Haven't seen one in 2018. I'm a volunteer at the county campaign HQ.
