Donald Trump is in Macon, Georgia, at 4 p.m. Eastern for the first of today's two campaign stops. Fox News reports crowd already there waiting. Should be good!
Trump is fixing our stuff that is FUBAR.
LOL!
NO!
I just saw the Trump commercial about the “caravan” running on TV. Granted I don’t watch a lot of TV — has this been running on TV for long?
Yep and yes me too fer sure!
Maybe Fox News doesn’t want to be seen as partisan.
But by shadow banning Trump’s great rallies while showing Obama clips all the time, it shows that they ARE partisan...towards the left.
They are becoming more like MSNBC CNN ABC CBS NBC COMCAST et al
Heh no seats in hangers.
I went to a campaign rally in a hanger in Sacramento just before he was elected President. I took my solidly conservative 20 yr old grandson with me. He loved it!
Went to one in Fresno before that, it was in venue that had seats.
Went with Freeper #1 and his son.
He looks tired in that picture.
I went to one in a hangar in Omaha, Nebraska, when I lived there, for Bob Dole. Standing only. I remember still it was exciting. Id love to see Trump. Maybe next time.
The size of the runway?
I missed the evening one entirely with family stuff. Will be watching it within next hour. Sounds like it was livelier than the one in Macon.
Yes it is exciting to be at one of these fantastic events
Hopefully there will be some near you in the next 6 years
Hmmm... Do the Pubs have to reimburse the AF when Trump makes out and out campaign trips? The 757 might be a lot cheaper. It would also force more of the press to make other travel arrangements...
3rd rally. Rush & Hannity will be there. Exciting one tonight!!!
GREAT graphic and photo. So true. President Trump is the hardest working President of all time.
God bless and keep him and may God bring a great victory for him and for America on Tuesday!
WOW
Good observation - Robins AFB isn’t far away so AF One could have landed there. We lived in Southern CA before retiring to GA and the presidents would land at LAX and come to OC on Marine One...We lived between two Marine bases (El Toro and Tustin) but Air Force One didn’t go in there.
From 2016:
Having that extra bit of runway, is just going to make us look all that more attractive to these carriers, says DLeon. He says after construction, the runway that is now 6,501 feet will be extended 1,500 feet.””
Your post and the one at #188 posed excellent questions.
I don’t know if the RNC or whoever has to reimburse the government for the president campaigning for congressional candidates from Air Force One.
At least he’s not pretending like obozo did to make an official trip which he managed to slip in when he and the family and how many others made PERSONAL trips on it. He was right - he was transparent!! He was so transparent, we could see right through him. Like he didn’t even exist. Oh! how I wish that were true!
The costs of operating Air Force One are certainly accounted for and I’ve always wondered WHY when no president has ever paid the costs associated with personal trips on it.
There are lots of rules that are never enforced. Another one and a big one to me is representatives or senators running for higher office who aren’t working on the job they were elected to do and still receiving a paycheck from the taxpayers. Believe it or not, there really is a rule about being absent from congressional sessions and being paid anyway. I believe the National Taxpayers Union used to keep track of the monies owed to the taxpayers for this very thing. Haven’t checked lately as it got really frustrating to see the figures and know they were being ignored!
“”Im not sure on the plane situation either.””
Posts #188 and #190 had good observations. Perhaps the runway at Macon wasn’t long enough for Air Force One and the B757 had to fly in...I just posted my reply to both of them for something I should have recognized myself. There is an AF base nearby - Robins AFB so maybe Air Force One flew in there and the president got on the B757...Suppositions for sure but frustrating that I couldn’t find anything about the plane trip to Macon or even who got off the plane there with him.
I didn’t see any of the TN rally last night...I heard it was excellent also.
I’m in that crowd!
I was there to. First row of seats right behind the press. Awesome rally
