My oath is a decade younger than yours, but that oath ages well. If it comes down to a fight to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, I have far more perspective on the value of what the corrupt left wants to take from my children. I have far less to lose now than when I was young. If America’s socialist enemies are prudent, they will back off peacefully, and accept that the rule of law will be restored with or without their cooperation.
Thanks for your service.
But here’s the thing about it, having been a cop in that city.
You still have, for the most part, the ghetto of South and West Atlanta. Although with the Beltline continuing to be developed and some other developments in the works, that’s changing. But who’s moving in after the redevelopment? Liberal white folks from up north, chasing jobs.
Then as you move east, through the city, through Morningside, Virginia Highlands, Inman Park, Little Five Pts and into the City of Decatur and Toco Hills/Emory(which the city is annexing, I think) and it’s nothing but uber liberal, wealthy, WHITE FOLKS. And they are the ones that have kept Lewis in office, even though he does absolutely NOTHING, for years.
Toss in all the high rises that are and have popped up in the midtown and downtown area, again, being filled with liberal, empty nesters, gays, and northern liberals chasing jobs.
It’s still a very segregated city. Hell, the mayor recently told the black residents of west Atlanta to hold out as long as they could. Well, that’s all fine and dandy, but when their property taxes start going thru the roof and some hipster, techie shows up to make an offer, they’ll take it or lose the house to the tax man.
Then thrown in Augusta, Savannah and some pockets in northern Dekalb Cty and the northern suburbs from East Cobb, East Cherokee, across north Fulton, where tons of northerners have moved to, and unfortunately, Stacy Abrams has a very decent chance of being the Governor of Georgia. As disgusting and sickening as that is.
However, all the blame rests on the Governors and their quests to lure big tech businesses, and the like, because that’s where all the money is. And they promised Georgian’s would reap the windfall with all those highpaying jobs. Not so much. All those jobs went to the northerners that followed their companies, south, and now they’re bring the same liberal BS with them.
Gun confiscation the way you start a civil war, not a conversation.
Phoenix is fairly conservative. It’s Tucson that sucks.
I’ve watched the same thing happen to Virginia.
It was sickening to watch Clinton’s Bag Man get elected Gov.
I thought the gun control argument for Georgia was settled back in 1846.

Nunn v. State
, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846).
“’The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed.’ The right of the whole people,
old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every
description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or
broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing
up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State.”
They’re like locusts. They ruin everything. All the while they live in their uber white, insulated enclaves, protected from the policies they support so earnestly. Drop about a couple of thousand on Martha’s Vineyard and offer them all the protections the liberals demand for them and lets see how kind and compassionate those rich folks are.
I agree. Pima county is just NUTZ any more. Must be all the dope-smok’m U of A types.
Ted Kennedy as an Uber driver. What a nightmare.
I bet she doesn’t include her Black Panther supporter’s AR’s. Saw a pic of her BP bros holding her campaign signs while brandishing their semi automatics.
