Border Patrol agents in the Laredo Sector arrested a group of Central American migrants after receiving a call for assistance from local police officers. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo South Station received a call from the Laredo Police Departments regarding a possible group of illegal aliens they encounter in a home near Slaughter Park. The agents responded to the location in south Laredo and found ten migrants who were detained by the local police, according to information obtained by Breitbart News from Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials.
The agents conducted an immigration interview with the ten migrants and learned they were all illegally present in the U.S. The agents identified the migrants as having traveled to the U.S. from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, officials stated.
Slaughter Park is located on Laredo’s south side just north of the Rio Grande River that separates Laredo, Texas, from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Border Patrol officials previously told Breitbart News that this is an area known for illegal border crossing activity.
During Fiscal Year 2018, Laredo Sector agents apprehended a total of 32,641 illegal aliens who crossed the border between ports of entry, according to the year-end Southwest Border Migration Report. This represents the third largest number of apprehensions of the nine southwestern border sectors.
Of those 32,641 migrants, 2,879 were unaccompanied minors and 597 were Family Unit Aliens, officials reported.
The Laredo Sector also led the nation in the apprehension of Bangladeshi nationals who were smuggled into the U.S. after they paid Mexican cartels to bring them across the border. The sector witnessed a 270 percent increase in the number of Bangladeshi nationals arrested during the fiscal year that ended on September 30.

And no catch and release, no anchor babies, no asylum unless absolutely legitimate in every way, round up illegals here and deport, and cut legal immigration way, WAY down.
And no legal immigrants getting gov bennies, and of course no illegals getting bennies since there should be no illegals here at all.
Illegals in US prisons should get drop kicked into their home countries. Why should we pay for them to be in our prisons? That alone will save huge $$.
For starters.
Make an example of them.
As of now all illegals caught will be neutered upon entry.
Let this information out.
1,000’s of liberals will have exploded heads and other migrants will head back south fast.
Nothing will stop illegals other than being physically unable to enter, and the measures I mentioned above.
And any that manage to sneak in, detention until hearing (very soon), then back over the border. If there has to be a hearing. And Sheriff Arpaio style detention facilities.
Having spent more time than I would have liked in various places around the world defending things other that our borders, I would be happy to head to our southern border and do some defense. Just sayin’

Trump has said that catch and release is ending. Or has ended. Catch, detain, and deport is the new standard. I do not know details. Did you listen to his immigration speech a few days ago? I heard most of it, it’s around. Very good speech. As soon as the Dems are trounced in a few days, we will likely hear a lot more about changes to immigration “policy”, including actually following the laws on the books.

I agree with both of you. That’s what Trump wants and the majority of Americans want. After the new Congress gets in, and maybe before, I think we’ll see some real action. Now that there is a better SCOTUS, rogue commie judges making law from the bench will be overturned, for one thing.
