I should have sent posts 55 and 57 to everyone that has had problems with Liberty Daily. I don’t know if what I did will float anyone’s boat but I like it and it might be worth a try.
Drudge still has the link to Free Republic.
I’ve found citizen free press to be the best ... and no ads.
Just seems like Drudge reports all sides.
Ok, that is good. Thanks
Good to have multiple sources and make your own decisions. Ill still check Drudge but also look for alternatives. Thanks to all for your comments and other suggestions for sites
brave browser keeps pop ups under control when viewing liberty daily
The Devil made me do it! :)
Thanks. Will check that out( citizens free press )
If you like “Liberty Daily” why would you block their revenue stream? No $, no site.
Better model is the one Brendan Eich is trying to establish with the “Brave” browser...no ads allowed...sites get paid directly by users via “BAT” tokens.
See, that's the problem with knee jerks (we have them on our side too). Once they are offended, they close their minds and lose all reason.
Free Republic IS linked on the Drudge Report. It's been that way as long as I can remember. So I have no idea what you are talking about with regard to it being removed. Maybe it was removed for a period of time as I remember some noise being made about it some 15-20 years ago. But I never remember a time when it wasn't there.
I think Drudge has always done a fine job with his site. Anti conservative or anti Trump? Tell that to any liberal and they will laugh at you. To them, Matt Drudge is one of their arch enemies.
Lot of other good sites mentioned on this thread. Drudge is not the only news aggregator page I go to. It is one of several others I visit regularly.
As for the complaints about "annoying" banner ads and such that I see others making here, would they be willing to support these sites with their own money? Nothing is for free in this world. If we are not willing to pay these websites a monthly fee, than we ought not complain about the banner ads. These websites have to cover their costs one way or another.
Here on the Free Republic, a subset of us pay monthly donations to keep the site running so that ads don't have to be run and so that others not paying into it can use the site for free.
Second that, too many ads for me.
And the headline writer may be Alex Jones from what I can tell.
I had no major problems with Liberty Daily until the past week. it now loads very slowly and sometimes I can’t even scroll down the page. very annoying.
Thanks for the links,,,,,
Not maybe it was. And since I never went back I did not know he had put it back up. Read this link.

And of course this site.
Another good source, and I am not endorsing the related radio show, is this site filled with links to news sources:
https://rense.com//
Two sites have emerged recently. Pro Trump News is here: https://protrumpnews.com/ and just read Dan Bongino is going to release Bongino Reports soon. The Blaze did a report on it: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theblaze.com/news/2019/11/28/dan-bongino-launching-alternative-to-drudge-report/amp
Comic Books? About the same mentality and usefulness.
Not only are the pop-ups annoying (and you can't get rid of them) but many of the ads are mostly creepy. Also, the page is just too much a knock-off of the Drudge site in terms of format. The operators of the site ought to change the formatting and make it their own.
I find that a well-curated Twitter feed is much superior in getting me up to speed on conservative news quickly (as well as FR).
