Final Nevada early vote update 11/3/2018
Jon Ralston ^ | November 3, 2018 | Me

So looks like 48,000 turned out in Clark Co yesterday. Dems added about 9k to their Clark firewall which is now 47,000. Looks like statewide lead is going to be around 23,000.

Not a total blowout by Dems, but Rosen is definitely in the drivers seat here. Heller will need a BIG Election Day turnout. And specifically he needs to carry his home County of Washoe. Dems currently lead there.

..and I don’t think people are considering (although it’s impossible to measure at present)”Walk Away” and what is going on with the Black vote...

I already voted and yes, held my nose for Heller. Of course most of the Republican candidates only got my vote because they weren’t Democrats. The Democrats here this year are full blown crazy.

I voted NO on all questions. I always vote no to any question that starts “Should the Nevada constitution be amended...”

There were about 30 people in line when I voted here in the sticks. I expect a lot of voting on Tuesday for Lyon County. The Sheriff has serious opposition and Lyon Co has a question on the ballot to rescind the ordinance to allow brothels and legalized prostitution.

Lemme guess.
Heller takes money from big Pharma. He voted to take people with pre-existing conditions off insurance. He will increase the premiums of health insurance.
The ‘rats have a lot of hutzpah complaining about health ins premiums going up.
Of course they can count on the ignorant people not remembering why premiums are through the roof now. Obamacare.
He wants to cut funding for schools.
Blah blah

Same as NC ‘rat candidates?

I’m confused.....I thought the people fleeing Cali were conservatives?

It's liberals fleeing from a liberal mecca. That makes perfect sense. They can't afford the CA taxes and liberalism, so they move out of state and then vote for more liberalism and higher taxes. No confusion here. It's crystal clear!

Have you seen any real study of how many voters - not news directors or media people who talk about it, mind you, but voters - care about “the law that protects so and so” as it’s being used by democrats this year?

I doubt it’s that many. Most people who aren’t brain-dead liberals are concerned about ratifiying USMCA, keeping the economy rolling and getting a raise. This is a MANUFACTURED issue by democrats and the uniparty that includes republican campaign consultants. It’s just like McCain voting for Obamacare after saying 200 times that he’d repeal it. Professional campaign consultants WANT IT as an issue because they can campaign on government helping this group or that. We were ALWAYS going to have to beat the McCains, PeRINOS and fat pig Stirewalts once Obamacare passed but that doesn’t mean it’s the issue they want it to be. No matter how much the DNC and even some in the RNC spend on ads that they’re essentially paying to friendly news directors at local and cable TV operations. These people and the game they have played for generations to rip off the American people simply do not matter anymore.

realistically, half of Los Angeles has moved up to Las Vegas.

Where in tarnation do you people get your "Realistic" facts?

Half of LA would mean over 2,000,000 people moved from LA to Vegas. So how does this work when Vegas only has a population of about 600K?

??

If GOP loses Tues, Paul Ryan owns the loss. For the past two years he has ignored Trumps winning 2016 agenda - eg infrastructure and border security - and instead tried to take people’s health coverage away.

Nope. They're liberals who are suffering under the policies that liberalism caused but they refuse to believe liberalism is at fault so they move elsewhere and continue voting for liberals and supporting liberal ideas. They're like AIDS and everywhere they go they bring infection. See Colorado and keep your eye on Texas, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Nevada, Arizona, and Idaho.

The people fleeing California are not conservative refugees. They're liberals and they're turning the red regions they move to purple.

Well sure. And lets hope this trend keeps up! Pretty soon all the states will be liberal and CA will be the only conservative state left!

Works for me!

No, it never happens that way. As liberals leave CA, CA still become more liberal too.

I see, you guys want it both ways. So according to you, all those fleeing CA are liberals, and yet CA becomes more liberal. Tell me, what are the conservatives in CA doing? Moving to San Francisco? Hollywood?

And how do you know everyone fleeing CA are liberals? Did you interview them all? Do you know them personally? Or are you just blowing smoke?

Realistically, half of Los Angeles has moved up to Las Vegas.

Total rubbish! Not even close.

Half of LA would mean over 2,000,000 people moved from LA to Vegas. So how does this work when Vegas only has a population of about 600K?

Vegas metro area population 2017 2,204,079)

Ya want to continue your reckless gibberish? Ya want to include the metro areas? OK. LA county has nearly 11 million..Half of LA city would be 2 million. With the greater LA area, that's about 13 million total. Half of that would be nearly 7 million.

So tell me, if half of LA and or the LA metro area was included, how is it possible 7 million moved to Vegas from LA when the entire population in the entire Vegas area is only about 3 million?

How exactly does that work?
