President Donald Trump defied charges Thursday from Democrats and the establishment media that he was a racist for supporting tough measures on immigration enforcement. Well you know the word racist is used about every Republican thats winning, Trump said in an interview with Christian Broadcast Network. Any time a Republican is leading they take out the R word, the racist word.
Trump denied that he was anti-immigrant, asserting that the country needed them but that all immigrants had to come into the country legally.
Im not anti-immigrant at all. Im all for people coming into the country legally and people based on merit, he said.
The president also announced that he would no longer continue the practice of catch and release for migrants claiming asylum at the southern border.

>>For the rest of my life, I will measure every politician against this great man.<<
I have been doing just what you’ve stated and will always do so in the future. No other politician in my lifetime of 77 years comes close to his greatness with the exception of the Gipper.
My thought as well, but I am going to use Borges’ post as a jumping off point to learn.
It is one of the things I love about Free Republic. It is a gateway for me to many things I have little knowledge about, though I do admit there are occasionally threads where I do regretfully feel that I wish I was still blissfully ignorant...
Could not be better said.
>>When you buy into these word games, its called being a useful idiot.<<
That is a truism that needs to be a constant reminder to all who get suckered into that trap.
Trump married 2 immigrants.
.
You’ll have to know how to search. The radical left in charge of big tech have been scrubbing the record for some years now. Almost every return result is some revisionist history like the site posted above(npr)
TWICE...Ivana was the first one, Melania the second; though his third wife.
The word ‘RACIST’ is used to describe anyone who opposes the racist, self-serving Democrat Party—the Party of Slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, and the Ku Klux Klan, for crying out loud!
uh, don’t forget “Hitler” and “NAZI” ... and naturally that applies to all of we Trump-supporters as well ...
How true!
A mob of alien invaders is not a race, you 50 IQ media apes.
And despite being in the public eye for decades, it wasn’t until he ran for President that no one knew such things!
...like steel basketballs.
Paul Ryan and the rest of the GOP-e leadership are not worthy to even stand in Trump’s shadow.
They are all cowards hiding in a cave hoping the boogie man doesn’t scare them.
Exactly.
I find this interesting in that the same way the Internet has castrated the media with respect to their stranglehold on the news (and like the dinosaurs that looked up to see a blazing meteor streaking towards earth, they still only dimly sense their extinction) the Internet is doing much the same to institutions of “higher learning”.
The left has had a stranglehold on the imparting and framing of history and knowledge for decades. They controlled what kids see in textbooks and what was allowed to pass into their knowledge. They turned into centers of indoctrination.
I liken the effect of the Internet to that of Radio Free Europe in a time when that was the only source of truth to many behind the Iron Curtin, and the state couldn’t stop people from hearing it.
Same with the Internet. It is democratizing.
Of course, the downside (as you alluded to in your post) is...Google. THEY are the arbiters of knowledge now. When you ask a question, they can and do shape and mold the answer to suit their purposes instead of fulfilling any commitment to the truth. Actually it isn’t that...they cannot deliver “the truth”, but they can deliver what they want you to see...their version of “truth”.
The concept of being able to ask questions and get answers is unbelievably powerful, but the problem is that one entity holds so much power to dispense those answers...Google. That scares me.
Hence, your statement on knowing how to ask the question in a way to maximize your chances of finding real truth instead of “their” truth. Very good point you made.
New tagline...
Good post. The internet was the ‘radio free europe’ for America. Not anymore. The radical left are in firm control of our big tech and they are ACTIVELY CENSORING everything they disapprove of. And history has shown us that they won’t stop at censoring.
