After watching several people drop their ballots off at a drop box outside the Salt Lake County government center, it is clear people are excited to vote this year. Im voting! said one woman, while raising both her arms to the sky. Thanks! said another man, who ran to the drop box. Its just things are nuts, said another woman, who said everyone should vote. Maybe its because we believe we're so divided right now, or we want our voices to be heard. Whatever the reason, Salt Lake County residents are voting in record numbers. People are returning their ballots in numbers that weve never seen, said Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swensen.

Aren’t we excited that Utah Morons are going to elect the new John McCain?
Is Salt Lake County a red or blue area?
Don’t know if this is good or bad for Mia Love.
If I am an illegal border crosser and promise to vote all Democratic Party , how many times can I vote ?
It is too bad. I had high hopes for Mrs. Love being a rising star. She took umbrage Trump's off the record "$#*+hole country" remark, but Haiti fits the description perfectly. Why does she think her parents worked so hard to get out of there?
If you are going to post about voting in a certain area, let us know if it is ‘Blue’ or ‘Red’ and where it is.
That’s what I thought. I had her in my second tier of losses.
Love has turned out to be a petty Trump hater.
And Trump never even said that, it was Durbin who said it I believe.
It is really close to even. Hillary won(SL County) in 2016 with 41.5% largely due to third party McMullin taking 19%.
Is Salt Lake County a red or blue area?
Believe it’s very blue, compared to the rest of the state. Read there was a medical marijuana bill likely to pass in UT, may be driving the vote.
I should qualify myself with the remark that SLC is the most libtard city in Utah. Park City is worse, if you can call it a city rather than a collection of seasonal shops with million dollar plus houses for the rich and famous who attend the Sundance Film Festival and enjoy world class skiing plus a less well-known side of town to house a large Hispanic population which services them.
You are probably right, but I don't give a rat's donkey. It is spot on accurate.
My family founded Summit County, they have sunk very low, my Great Grandfather would be disgusted.
Purple. It’s as close to 50/50 as you’re going to get.
I’m with you, but knee-jerk, emotional reactions have destroyed more than one politician’s career. BTW, Haiti is a shithole.
