I actually am not familiar with enough Japanese names to know if most first and/or last names end in a vowel.

I am pretty sure the last names do.

I know a lot of the foods do :)

I’ve never even heard of a Japanese surname that did NOT end in a vowel,and 99% of their first names also end in vowels.

(DIL is Japanese descent.)
