The controversy over a campaign staffer to Republican state Sen. Martin Golden inviting an alt-right leader to speak at a GOP club continued to escalate as a Bay Ridge social justice organization demonstrated in front of the lawmaker’s campaign headquarters and supporters staunchly defended him.
The group Bay Ridge for Social Justice held a protest rally outside Golden’s campaign office at 7615 Third Ave. on Oct. 21 to demand that the senator fire Ian Reilly.

Social justice group my ass. FI the Fightback group and DSA are part of any group entitled “Social Justice whatever”, color it PINK at the least, RED at the most, and take it from there.
Pellitierri or Pelligrino or Gringo’s comment about shouting over/out a speaker shows that they are either fascists or communists, or a mix of both regarding the First Amendment.
I think it is time for a law suit against the SJ crowd. At least a temporary injunction to prevent them from violently disrupting the speech.
what the heck is a ‘social justice’ group? who’s social and who’s justice? that of the mentally deficient drawn to such groups? And does a speaker at an event not open to the public who is not inciting bad behavior, qualify as something needing ‘justice’ at all? And if a group is seeking ‘justice’ shouldn’t they be talking to a judge in proper legal triple copy documents instead of standing out in a street making damn fools of themselves?
