According to “The Sun”, a British paper, he was in his wheelchair when three “Mafia” types took him off to an area out of sight of security cameras. There he was beaten to death by a lock inside of a sock. They also tried to gouge out one of his eyes with a prison made knife.
How The Sun was able to get this info and no American news source could is a bit of a mystery.
Sounds like a Mafia hit carried out in prison.

I am from western Pennsylvania but listened to Howie years ago. I remember his “Whitey Watch”. I didn’t know the whole story of Whitey Bulger. Downloaded yesterday and today’s podcasts, and Howie is celebrating! I didn’t know there was a contract out on him. I didn’t know Whitey was such an evil person. Wow, what a monster!
