Federal agents have been called in to investigate after the local sheriff's department pulled over a truck in South Carolina.
A pickup truck was stopped by sheriff's deputies on Interstate 85 in Anderson County on Monday.
Sheriff Chad McBride said he could not reveal what deputies found in the truck because Homeland Security had taken over the investigation.

First time I've heard of this one. Things seem to be ramping up. The article confirmed that a LEO source says it has nothing to do with illegal drugs.
I recently read a short novel by William R. Forstchen titled DAY OF WRATH about a low tech terror attack carried out across multiple states in unison that would, in my professional opinion succeed without question were it to actually occur.

I-85 between Atlanta GA and Charlotte NC has been a hotbed for law enforcement for the last couple of weeks. Also, lots of military helicopters flying around.

lots of military helicopters flying around.Now THAT'S interesting. I hadn't heard that.
I'd be wondering if the birds are scanning for radiation or chemical traces.

That corridor is forever filled with para military state cops playing with military style Blackhawks,and Humvees, dressed out in camo and ninja outfits. It’s been like that for decades. Mostly a Smokey Mountains weekend warrior thing for cops playing soldier.
