They have largely succeeded in animating Republican voters like Ms. Hooten around the idea of these foreign nationals posing a dire threat to the country’s security, stability and identity.
Mr. Trump described them as “an invasion of our country” on Monday and his administration announced plans to deploy at least 5,200 active-duty troops to the southern border by the end of this week, its biggest show of force yet in confronting the migrants
But as the country processes the cumulative trauma of two actual crises that occurred inside its borders — a spate of pipe bombs sent to the president’s political opponents, and the massacre of 11 people at a synagogue by a man who spewed anti-Semitic vitriol and called immigrants “invaders” — there is clear overlap between the hatred and delusion that drove this lethal behavior and the paranoia and misinformation surrounding the caravan.

Not a chance they make it before elections, it will take more than a month. Figure is out yourself - they have covered 200 miles in NINE days- 22 miles a day.
My guess is they are 1000 miles away so they will be here in 46 days if they make it at all.
I don’t think they can make it any closer than 500 miles from the border.

Actor James Woods is questioning how the migrant caravan has been able to travel so quickly through Central America without massive aid from authorities and other shadowy groups.
“So consider this: it is over 2,000 miles from Tegucigalpa, Honduras to Phoenix, Arizona,” tweeted the conservative actor. “Hard to believe a bunch of people just randomly decided to pack a lunch and walk TWO THOUSAND MILES to anywhere. Where is this mob sleeping, using bathrooms, procuring food and water?”
Times columnist Thomas Friedman has room to board a couple hundred of them.
At some point an adult will have to seriously get involved with these libtards. Time outs? Sit in the corner? Something has to be done.
