I wonder if Don Rickles was referring to the Civil War practice of allowing a conscriptee to pay $300 to someone willing to go fight in his place.

$300 was a huge sum in those days. This was on the Union side only.

In our culture, victimization accords moral authority and thus power to the victim. Subjugating or convincing a constituency to accept victimization cedes power to those perpetuating this harmful ruse on their peers. This is despicably immoral -- but it is tacitly acceptable and all too commonplace in our victimization culture. Just think of how many “rights” organizations claim moral authority and power through victimization.

Morning Joe showcased Jews willing to condemn 65 Million Trump supporters as being no different than the killer because of their political positions.

In another he was giving Carson grief because Johnny spoke a little Russian. Rickles said to Carson, "Jews don't do that, we say, here's $300, I speak Russian."

Mr. GG2 is one of those gun totin Jews. I have another Jewish friend who has always carried but most don’t. Mr. GG2 says it’s self loathing that jews don’t love Israel and support gun control. He just shakes his head.

It’s because the loudest American Jewish people are from giant urban areas like NYC. So they think and act like other Yankees.

Starting when I was 10 or so, my father used to pay me 10 Shekels (I think it was like $5) to clean his rifle and his pistol each month.

Jews by and large are not farmers nor rural dwellers. By nature they are citifified/ghettoized. That environment in and of itself tends to historically be very socialist and anti-gun.
