Did not stop them to invent motives on Richard Jewel... what a bunch of criminals
And they are so proud of their dirty laundry huh hush hush powers. Shameless cowards
Most likely he wanted fame and a legacy just like pretty much all modern mass shooters. If you’re an amoral psychopath and you don’t have talent, or luck, or the desire to work hard shooting up a bunch of defenseless people is an easy way to get the media to immortalize you. The whole mystery act just is seasoning on top of that.
So, that is now they close the investigation
Everyone involved is a pathetic joke and insults the memory of loved ones lost, as well, the survivors
Sick bass turds
“It’s a really good idea to NOT disclose ANY of the casino video camera footage to the public because _____________”...?????!??!?!?!
Saudi Arabia has long bought off fundamentalists. But MBS was an up-and-comer a reformer by Saudi standards. This meant fundamentalists would lose an important source of funding.
Meanwhile in the USA it is a natural point of interest of DaGummint to know who the baddies are who wish to buy military small arms. This is especially true for the baddies who are MUSLIM wanting to do that. To do this DaGummint uses agents who pose as greedy, wayward scum-bag arms dealers, etc.
Working like —using agents— means DaGummint learns about the identities and methods of the baddies.
The fundamentalists saw their chance to knock-off MBS when he went abroad to Las Vegas to gamble. The Saudis own the top 4 floors of the Mandalay Bay —that’s where most of them stay when playing around in Vegas.
To keep things simple the fundamentalist baddies scheduled their arms buy near the top of the Madalay Bay. Their latest intel was that MBS was juuust upstairs from their arms buy. They reviewed their guns, killed their honky arms salesman, then ran upstairs:
They discovered their target was NOT there as they had believed.
They needed to escape. They wanted a diversion to make that easier:
They opened fire on the concert venue in order to generate the type of chaos they wanted; they wanted to overload the workload of law enforcement.
Their shooting job was slowed considerably by their discovery that many of the mags were not loaded; that’s why there was intermittent pausing during the shooting.
The two shooters discovered they were surrounded on their floor and could not escape.
They offed themselves. Their dead arms salesman agent was already dead and never fired a shot.
The government covered it all up, since it might appear they had something to do with the mass-shooting suddenly thrown into their laps.
This was a modern variation on the OKC bombing, another sting operation which also blew-up in the faces of the Feds.
Makes more sense than anything our gummint has said.
First rule of criminology : every crime has a motive.
The FBI just ain’t been looking hard enough.
And it was obvious from the very first public statement that the local chief was under orders what (and what not) to say. It is my belief that if you take on a public office like that, sometimes you have a public duty to speak out what you know regardless of the personal consequnces.
I read an interview with a pyromaniac who had started numerous fires. He said, “I had this burning flame inside me and it hurt. I wanted to leave it someplace.” I suspect that Paddock’s motive was similar craziness. He was angry and felt small and inconsequential. “Well, damnit, I will be important and consequential after this!” In other words, the act of shooting would transform him. (Which leads to some interesting philosophical implications regarding satisfaction after death.)
Other, younger shooters, apparently did it for fame. “Everyone will know who I am after this!” (Also leading to some thoughts of what they expected to “feel” after death.)
Hmm or is it a motive that doesn't fit the 'evil white Christian conservative male'?
I agree.
Nothing to see here, folks, move along.
And they vilify and chastise all those who question their secrecy as conspiracy theorists. The people get no answers to these horrific events because they are tied to things we should not know about, why because if we did heads would roll. Apparently the unsuspecting American citizens, fathers mothers brothers sisters children caught in this were just collateral damage, move on nothing to see here
bump
My theory:-Paddock had no motive. He didn’t shoot anyone. He was dead before the massacre commenced. He was a CIA or FBI contractor setting up a bunch of Jihadists for an arms sale. They were on to him and upended the setup turning it to their own purpose. That is, of course, known to the feds and the reason they jus can’t figger it out.
There was a couple staying at the Tropicana who claimed there was gun fire there but couldn’t get anyone to admit it.
Well at least they got those evil bump-stocks outlawed..../s

First rule of investigation? Look up, not down.
Who owned the floor above the shooter?
If there are muslims involved, never. And the motive will forever be opaque..
👳♂️
Do you really think they were buying these guns from this guy? Thats not how this works. Do you think the Saudis need to see an AR15 before they buy them. THAT is ridiculous.
The firearms were there to be used. I think that is obvious. Who was using them and why is the unanswered question.
