Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during an event over the weekend left the door open to a possible 2020 run, saying that even though she doesn't want to run, "I'd like to be president."
Clinton's comments come as speculation has increased over whether she will launch another bid after the midterm elections.
"Do you want to run again?" Recode’s Kara Swisher asked during a Friday night Q&A with Clinton.
"No," Clinton replied quickly, sparking laughter from the audience. But when Swisher pressed her further, she added: "I’d like to be president."
Clinton went on to say that "there’s going to be so much work to be done" after a Democrat "hopefully" wins the next presidential election.
"The work would be work that I feel very well prepared for having been in the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department," she said, listing off the qualifications that she often touted during her previous run.
She added that she's not going to think about a possible run until after the upcoming midterm elections.

If she didn’t think she deserved to stroll into the inauguration before, she’ll act even more entitled and aloof this next time.
Well un-mistakenly, by her own words, she still covets the power seat of the Presidency.....But as in her past does not want to earn it anymore than she did the positions she has held she often loves to role off her tongue...as if these qualify her...none of which she accomplished anything whatsoever.
I would not be surprised if the Socialist Dems have concocted a means for her to slip into the Presidency .....if it works. They are that determined to regain what they believe Trump took from them.....especially Hillary.
Put nothing past this woman....she couldn’t care less if the public likes her or not...she believes she has a political role now and ahead.

I hate how she thinks she’s qualified “having been X, Y, and Z”. B*tch, occupying a certain position doesn’t mean anything, what did you actually do when you were X, Y, and Z that actually improved anyone’s life? Besides, the only reason why you were ever X, Y, and Z, is because of your husband. Just shet up and go away.
Interesting thought.....Perhaps Hillary must run again to prevent her being charged and convicted?...along with all the others she’s protecting currently.
Hillary is one very shifty lady..do not underestimate the Clinton machinery.

Leftist logic is always twisted as you mentioned....but your right as nothing they do is what it seems to be because it’s all about favors and payouts and power plays ..still..for Hillary Clinton and her like.

Well first she has never cared what the people of this nation think of her (ever).....her Presidential run showed exactly that. She put no effort into meeting the public except under very controlled and limited events. She was ‘promised” the Presidency after Obama’s term......which to her, as always in any position she obtained, was never dependent on the public nor her achievements, she had neither....but on who held the power to make that happen for her, and how she could manipulate that terrain.
If she does run, can’t wait to see her kick it off in Wisconsin, just to get that base covered!

The Party is split between the true Demorats and the Socialists within the party. It would depend on which would back her. The media certainly still does or they would not be headlining her now this often...or even a little. They are happy to dance to any tune she chooses currently...she has dirt on them all.
