Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during an event over the weekend left the door open to a possible 2020 run, saying that even though she doesn't want to run, "I'd like to be president."
Clinton's comments come as speculation has increased over whether she will launch another bid after the midterm elections.
"Do you want to run again?" Recode’s Kara Swisher asked during a Friday night Q&A with Clinton.
"No," Clinton replied quickly, sparking laughter from the audience. But when Swisher pressed her further, she added: "I’d like to be president."
Clinton went on to say that "there’s going to be so much work to be done" after a Democrat "hopefully" wins the next presidential election.
"The work would be work that I feel very well prepared for having been in the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department," she said, listing off the qualifications that she often touted during her previous run.
She added that she's not going to think about a possible run until after the upcoming midterm elections.

Trump would NEVER be so stupid as to try and lock her up, or any of his political opponents!
IF he was even successful (a big if), doing so would immediately make them martyrs, breathing new life into their now defunct political careers, and assuring that the Democrats would win back the Presidency in 2020 - at which time any Democrats convicted would receive full pardons anyway.
I can’t think of a stupider plan - thank God Trump is not as stupid as some of his so-called supporters.
I wonder if this is a giant fake PR campaign on her part to keep the money rolling in. The Clintons are addicted to money like a junkie is addicted to heroin. I would not put it past her to feign interest in running again just to keep cash coming in.

Hill raised money from some very bad people by promising to deliver future favors. If she doesn’t keep promising those future favors, going to jail shouldn’t be her biggest fear.
She thought that the media would do its job on her behalf and crush the GOP nominee.

Hillary is a criminal. What she did would put anyone else in prison and other people like a serviceman recently in the news, have gone to prison for far less.
Hillary’s acolytes in the DOJ - Rosenstein, Strzok, Ohr, Weinstein, Mueller and others have done a great deal of damage hurting Trump’s image and hindering his ability to deliver on his promises.
Clearly Sessions has been an active enabler of these creatures by double crossing Trump, not letting him know in advance he would recuse himself and enabling Mueller and Rosenstein.
Perhaps you should re-assess who the STUPID person here really is.
