MINNESOTA’S APOSTLE OF HATE
Powerline ^ | October 28,2018 | SCOTT JOHNSON

Keith Ellison is Minnesota’s incumbent Fifth District congressman, deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee and DFL candidate for Minnesota attorney general. He was a long-time apostle of hate on behalf of Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, though the local Minnesota media haven’t gotten around to revisiting the issue as Ellison seeks statewide office. Now he is an apostle of hate on behalf of the causes of the increasingly mainstream far left of the Democratic Party.h

Speaking last week at a debate with GOP candidate Doug Wardlow, Ellison explained that he had operated under the impression that Farrakhan “had some things to offer.” Well, that’s the problem. As an advocate of Farrakhan and active member of the Nation of Islam hate cult, Ellison never dissented from a single doctrine of the creed according to Farrakhan.

When Ellison won the primary contest for the DFL attorney general nomination in August, I thought Ellison’s support for cop killers and terrorists peculiarly unfitted him for the office. Drawing on contemporaneous press accounts as well as his 2000 National Lawyers Guild speech in support of Symbionese Liberation Army terrorist Kathleen Soliah/Sara Jane Olson — the terrorist in my neighborhood — I took a look back at this aspect of Ellison’s career in the Weekly Standard column “Can Keith Ellison turn lawman?”

In his National Lawyers Guild speech Ellison spoke favorably of cop killers Mumia Abu-Jamal and “Assata Shakur” (Joanne Chesimard), who is wanted for the murder of New Jersey state trooper Werner Foerster in 1973. Chesimard was convicted of that murder but escaped from prison in 1979 and has been on the lam in Cuba since 1984. Bryan Burrough’s Days of Rage has a riveting account of Chesimard’s terrorist career.

Minnesota is ripe to become the first Muslim state in the Union.

The heart of MN (not Minneapolis and Duluth) is quite conservative (workers), and they’re fed up with progressivism, over-regulation and illegal/muzzie immigrants.

Muzzie-hugging, Trump-basher Ellison is down around 10 points now.

“Ellison’s support for cop killers and terrorists...” ...is nothing new for Democrats, theyve been doing it for years; weather underground, et al, ad nauseum.

Minnesota might become Muslim state....

Yipes. Bob Dylan and his brother David should sell their acres of property there.

Hubert Humphrey and Eugene McCarthy had to get socialist and farmer labor splinter voter support to be successful Dems back in the day. Unions dictated a lot to politicians. I always thought that was weird but FDR had a socialist VP so that trashy stuff was going around.
Some of the roots of the modern left were from those “Midwest working man getting a raw deal” malarkey types. A drag.

I dont think so. A muslim will get support in Minneapolis and St Paul, not much beyond that. The people in the American part of the state are pretty tired of having their towns destroyed by the invasion of the skinnies. St. Cloud for example. An absolute shithole now.

They’re just trying to recreated the pest hole of a country they came from so they’d feel more comfortable.

No. The woman running for his old seat is a somalian who married her brother but it’s ok because it’s just what muslims do.

The last time I visited the Twin Cities I was astounded at the numbers of Muzzie women waiting on department store trade and on motel guests.
This was south of the Minnesota River...

RE: the people of MN getting tired of the ‘skinnies’. Not all Muslims are ‘bad’. However, I would certainly think twice, thrice and x’s10 before I would trust enough to vote for one of them.

You are correct in your statement that the outstate folks in MN have become more conservative with every election in MN. Two years ago, St. Cloud’s tri-county region went for Trump by double digits, despite Stearns County being the home of St. Cloud State University, St. John’s University and St. Benedict’s College. Even the indoctrination of the student body by radical leftist professors could not turn the tri-county area purple, lest blue.

Here’s to the hope that the MN GOP’s motto comes true this year - “Make Minnesota Red in 2018.”
