All the bylines from the caravan seem to indicate they've barely made a dent on the length of their trip to the border....irrespective of trucks, trains, and automobiles.

At this rate the October surprise will have exploded in the faces of the dems generating lots of images of "marauding armies" to our benefit, yet avoiding a potential ugly scene at the border in time for election day.

It would be December at the earliest, but I suspect most will give up, turn around, or accept Mexico's offers. None will reach the border, imho.

Thanks for that insight. Probably true that they want a “ virtual confrontation” without having an actual one involving thousands and an eventual shutdown of their effort.
