Don’t have any idea who signed Kelly’s contract & agreed to pay her that much money.

HOWEVER-——IF she is still going to receive those funds, IMO, she is still an EMPLOYEE of NBC & they can just keep paying her & NOT ALLOW her to work for anyone else during the length of time of that contract.

IF I were caught up in a similar situation, and there was a possibility that a tarnished employee who was still collecting funds from a contract from me, I would balk & fight like Hell to keep that person from collecting funds from ME & also working for someone else.

She may be caught up in a situation where they have to pay her, but they don’t have to assign her a single second of air time. LITERALLY-—BENCH her & keep her face off other networks.

They might do that, though I doubt they have to worry about her as competition anywhere. Right now she is radioactive. I don’t think she can get an agent, let alone a job as serious as she had at NBC or Fox.

There must be more to the contract. For instance, if Megyn publicly badmouthed NBC, wouldn’t NBC have the right to fire her and not pay out her contract?

And, if NBC mistreated her in certain ways, couldn’t she leave and get her contract payout?
