New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is holding onto a 22-point lead over Republican Marc Molinaro as the 2018 race for governor enters its final five weeks, according to a new poll made public Monday.
Cuomo, a two-term Democrat, leads Molinaro, the Dutchess County executive, 50-28 percent, according to the Siena College poll of likely voters.
The governor also leads by wide margins over four other third-party candidates who will appear on the Nov. 6 ballot, the poll found. A combined 14 percent of likely voters said they will vote for one of the third-party candidates.

The Gov thanks you for your support.
This is from over 3 weeks ago. Why are you posting it now?

And the problem is?
Vote for someone like Sharpe rather than no one.
His stand on several different issues.
At least he’s for a full repeal of the Safe Act, elimination of NYS income tax, some very interesting ideas on education, but silent on abortion and immigration.

I just want to poke a stick in someone’s eye, and am leaning very strongly to voting for Sharpe to send a message, which is about the best my vote is going to do.
If you read the article, and believe me, I know to not trust polls, even if everyone in the state voted for Molinaro, they could still not overcome Cuomo.
However, Nixon is running and she killed him in the primaries in the Capitol District.
Have you seen any campaign signs for Cuomo?
Cause I’ve driven over a fair chunk of the state in recent weeks, Syracuse and Cortland area, the Rome/Oneida area, the Albany area through Hoosick Falls, Troy, Amsterdam, and Ballston Spa and I have not seen ONE sign for Cuomo.
It’s by and large Molinaro, and a few Sharpe.
So is anyone who votes for him.
I tell everyone I meet about Sharpe, ESPECIALLY liberals/dems who hate Cuomo.
Just doing my civic duty. :)
It’s probably out of date.
yup- Sharpe is more conservative than anything the GOP has offered in this garbage state in ages...
i spoke to Molinaro’s people and suggested they go into the inner cities of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and tell black Americans that cuomo’s stance on sanctuary for illegals not only hurt them but is also racist as it gives illegals favorable treatment under the law...i told them “if they (black Americans) committed the same crimes illegals commit they would have marks on their records but coumo wants to give the illegals sanctuary”...
Molinaro’s team looked at me like i was talking chinese..

The problem is that NY State’s Republican Party sucks when it comes to getting good Conservative candidates to run for Governor, or getting the message of their candidate out to the rest of the State. Most of the people here in Central NY State where I live, and probably the western part of the State, don’t even know who Molinaro is, or what he stands for. I’ve seen very few signs, and no TV commercials at all for him.
“Poll: Andrew Cuomo opens big lead in NY governor’s race”
Hey, they like this stool sample so let them have him.
There's none here in Rome, NY which is in Oneida County. Few Molinaro signs too.
That’s cause they are RINOs.
Actually, dems in Republican clothing.
Poll: Andrew Cuomo opens big lead in NY governor’s race.
No surprise. From the very beginning...THE FIX WAS ON!
The liberals who live in NYS are far too gone to ever see the light. They were some of the very first citizens to be brain washed and drawn into the darkness.
Outside of four NYC boroughs I believe your observations would be correct.
During the debate, Molinari kept on calling Cuomo, "sir".
Geez, what a coward.
It illustrates what a basket case NY is.
It’s NYC.
If you look at the red/blue maps county by county, most of Upstate NY, everything north of NYC basically, it’s almost all red.
NYC is whaat’s destroyed and destroying the state.
