Between October 22 and 24, 2018, suspicious packages were received at multiple locations in the New York and Washington, D.C., areas and Florida. The packages are being sent for analysis at the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia.
This investigation is of the highest priority for the FBI. We have committed the full strength of the FBIs resources and, together with our partners on our Joint Terrorism Task Forces, we will continue to work to identify and arrest whoever is responsible for sending these packages, said FBI Director Christopher Wray. We ask anyone who may have information to contact the FBI. Do not hesitate to call; no piece of information is too small to help us in this investigation.
The packages are similar in appearance, as depicted in the below photograph, and contain potentially destructive devices.
The packages were mailed in manila envelopes with bubble wrap interior. The packages were affixed with computer-printed address labels and six Forever stamps. All packages had a return address of DEBBIE WASSERMAN SHULTZ [sic] in Florida. Packages identified to date were addressed to:
George Soros
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
Former President Barack Obama
Former CIA Director John Brennan, care of CNN
Former Attorney General Eric Holder
The package addressed to former Attorney General Holder did not reach its intended destination, but was rerouted to the return address in Florida.
The FBI will continue to work with our federal law enforcement partners at the United States Secret Service, United States Postal Inspection Service, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, as well as our state and local law enforcement partners, to identify and arrest the person or people responsible for sending these packages.
It is possible that additional packages were mailed to other locations. The FBI advises the public to remain vigilant and not touch, move or handle any suspicious or unknown packages.
If you have information about these packages, please contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or tips.fbi.gov. If you observe any suspicious activity that requires an immediate response, please call 911 or contact your local law enforcement.
What has me worried is that the FBI is going along with treating this picture as a bona fide anonymous bomb threat. There is no way that package could have been delivered via the Postal Service to the other targets. This pic was conveniently taken from a package hand-delivered to CNN. I do not think that is a coincidence - it allowed this image to be sent out the world - and they are so confident in their ability to control the narrative that they don’t care about the many obvious issues with that narrative.
do you have the link to the amazon page for this digital clock? please
maybe?, but how do you solder that gauge to a microstrip on the board without f’ing everything up?
And furthermore, you’re assuming there is an equally magic detonator circuit past the jiffy pop end cap to receive the delicate “left tackle” cable.
Re: picture of one of the envelopes
That’s a pretty small envelope to hold any significant “bomb.” The way the radio news shows have been talking about this all day, I expected something at least the size of a shoe box. Looks like it might hold an M-80, at best, allowing for timer and detonator. Unless the perpetrator had access to C-4 or Semtex, this would be more of a noise maker, a fire=cracker rather than a bomb. Not that such a device couldn’t hurt someone who was holding it when it went off.
Not that it matters. Legally, to send ANY explosive device through the mail is a felony, and to do so with a political motive is terrorism.
On the other hand, *this* envelope shows no sign of having been sent through the mail; the stamps are not cancelled, there is no address bar code printed on the address label or the envelope.
Again, to hoax a terrorist act is legally terrorism. I hope they catch the perp(s) and throw the book at him/her/them.
Sloppy thinking on their part. Look at Kavanaugh and how Ford’s testimony was torn apart on-line. Hopefully this will be the same.
OK, FBI, riddle me this: the package to CNN was hand delivered. Apparently, at least some of the other packages got into the postal system, even though no postal clerk I can think of would have accepted them as presented - improper varying thickness of the envelope, envelope over 16 ounces, tape over the stamps and not enough postage.
Of course he is, dimwit leftist troll...
But if a Democrat sends fake bombs to other Democrats (who know they are coming) then it’s just fakery. No terror involved.
Exactly. It’s a hoax.
It could be the one sent to Soros. Reportedly a Soros house staffer took the package away from the house to woods.
Amen.
The FBI is near the bottom of my list of sources of reliable information.
The FBI uses FBI informants to do their dirty work. Plausible deniability.
That was probably from Soros house. The guy that got the mail never took them into the house.
Yep, it’s as if.
“If it was a hoax, and if the Trump-Russia collusion investigation is an indication, we should find out something from the FBI around the year 2020.”
Kinda like HRC's "Reset" button, that said, "Overcharge", and Obama's multiple "Birth Certificates" that were poorly made fakes.
Incompetence. It's a Democrat thing.
I’m not saying he did.Just replying to your comment about not having a place for the wire. He clearly didn’t connect , not with that gage unless he stripped the wires down. With that thick of a wire he would also potentially have too much resistance for a small power signal to carry.
What was the method of shipment of the package intended for Holder but rerouted to DWS office in Florida? A plane? Mail Truck? if it was rerouted via mail truck, how did it arrive at the same time the other packages arrived at their destinations? Something is rotten in Denmark and stinks to high heaven.
It wasn’t even a reset button, that’s the funny part.
Look up “kill switch” on google images.
