Aww...poor Suvi! I didn’t realize she’d had such a hard time of it. Glad she’s back to her rambunctious self.

I let Grey out for a bit while I changed the pad in her carrier. She had gotten it wet with water, etc. She reeeeeeeally didn’t want to go back into it. Can’t say I blame her. Little Sugar has been quiet as a mouse. I do need to give them a bit more food before bedtime, though.

It has rained a bit. Nothing measurable, but enough to wet the patio. It’s really not even that cold. 55. How is it at your house. Has the dust finally settled from the harvesting?

Yeah, poor lil Suvi had a rough time. I’ve never seen such a sloppy incision and she was VERY sore for days.
I’d assumed the vet who owns the clinic, whom I like a lot, had done the spay but when I saw that mess, I knew he hadn’t. His work is neat. I looked at the bill and sure enough, her name was there, not his.

I called the clinic and let them know I was VERY unhappy about it and said that she was never to handle our cats again. I also told the vet who owns the clinic that I was unhappy with her work and wouldn’t deal with her any more.

But Suvi is fine now. I just keep wondering when she’s going to grow up. She looks like a maybe 5 month old kitten. TINY girlie and cute as a button.

Just put a bowl of dry food in their carriers so they’ll have plenty to nibble on overnight. Don’t want them hungry on top of being freaked out by their ordeal today. Sugar will most likely to be ready to nibble before much longer.

Are their carriers set where they can see each other through the doors and feel some comfort in the company?

The rain’s broken up down there but you should get a little something as the night wears on. Maybe you’ll get enough to do some good.

It’s 41 degrees here right now. At least there’s no wind so the critters outside don’t have to deal with wind chill. It was so warm so late into the season, they don’t have good winter coats yet.

They just finished getting the beans out of Hubby’s cousin’s field today and were planting seed as well. It stinks out there from all the dust hanging in the air. We can’t wait for the rain to get here!
