To hear the left tell it, the vast Honduran migrant caravan, as many as 10,000-strong now, crawling up to the U.S. border to illegally enter the U.S. couldn't possibly have criminals in its ranks.

Get a load of this exchange between President Trump and a mainstream media minion, as reported by the Daily Mail:

At one point during the briefing, Emily Cochrane, a reporter for The New York Times, asked Trump: ‘What evidence do you have that these are hardened criminals that are coming to the United States?’

Trump appeared agitated.

'Oh please. Please, don’t be a baby, OK,’ the president said. ‘Take a look, just take a look, look at what’s happening, look at the Mexican soldiers that are laying on the ground.

Difference is you wouldn’t see it on cable tv.
They would just be let in and would show up in your neighborhoods

Mirror what is going to happen here. Get used to it. We are toast and hundreds of illegals we have here are killing, injuring, or just milking the system. And Washington is letting it happen.

If we had had a party that sided with the citizens and the rule of law, we would already have a border fence and enforcement.

The GOP has been more duplicitous than the Democrats about not securing the border and enforcing the laws.

We would not have needed Trump if the GOP were on our side.

Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Cochran, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Gaines, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans hell bent on making America into North Mexico.

" the invasion army is with military style leadership in colored vests, “jefes,” directing the peons "
That indicates not only a well organized, but, as wee have seen, well supplied army. There is no doubt that the 'organization' goes beyond jefes giving directions. Likely as not, the cartels are involved and that means access to heavy weapons. Which is why major military units from OK an TX are on alert.

Those pick ups used to transport invaders could jut as readily be converted to 'technicals' before reaching the border - and that is not something the border patrol with their pistols and rifles can handle, even if there were someway for them to handle an invading army of 10,000 or more.

A technical

Can Mexico really not deal with 7000 migrants, even if they are hardened criminals?

There in a caravan.

Does Mexico not have a military?

Is it only school kids they can make disappear?

My question is: What is the Mexican government doing about it? One would think the would act. They seem not to have a problem behaving like Stalin.

“Just vote Republican on election day and everything will be just fine, (sarc)”

Because it would be so much better if Hillary was President, Pelosi the Speaker and Schumer the Majority Leader.

Look, we are dealing with not just the Leftist Dems who wish to see the electorate remade wholesale, and quickly, so that they can gain or maintain power, we are also dealing with the Republicans who are backed by the Chamber of Commerce types that only care about the bottom line. That latter group opposed Trump as much as the Dems...but is being weeded out of the Party (slowly, to be sure, but also surely as time passes). Trump is literally remaking the Republican Party, but it takes time. If the people who put him there cannot support him, then why the Hell did we vote for him? The man cannot do everything alone (and none of us want to be in a country where he could, either) - he needs more like-minded people in Congress so that he can actually get things done. Deny him that, and you’re doing nothing but slicing your own throat (and ours, too).

We’re trying something new here, a President that can’t be bought, who is a businessman who gets stuff done FAST, and who has the best interests of the nation (not big donors) at heart. This isn’t a video game where you get multiple lives if you F#*$ up, this is real life and we only get one shot at a POTUS like this in a lifetime. Let’s not F#*$ it up by expecting paradise in less than 2 years, 2 years in which the entrenched Deep State has been doing their utmost to take the guy down.

re: “then what could prevent our military from crossing into Mexico and setting up a defense line on their territory, if their army is that weak?”

Taking advantage of natural land features like rivers and mountain passes and the like to ‘funnel’ and control the ravaging horde - yes.

A strategic move designed to safely manage the situation for the sake of lives on both sides. It might work.

technicals are not Mattel toys; they are used all over the world as a poor man’s mechanized units - they are not toys - usually include .50cal or 30mm mounts on Toyota pickups

“BOTH parties wanted to run ineligible candidates and are using Precedent Obama to gut the protections of the natural born citizen requirement.”

1. That was pre-Trump. WAY pre-Trump.

2. It is easy to point fingers and criticize. What you you propose to DO about what’s going on?

I, too, despise the establishment types at the RNC and in Congress (and at the state and local level, too). But I contributed to Trump’s campaign, I voted for him in the primaries and the general, I did my level best to convince others to do the same. I did something besides bitch about the unsatisfying status quo. Here we sit now with a POTUS unlike any we’ve ever had before, someone who is Hellbent on destroying the GOP-E, and sitting around and criticizing the GOP-E for what it did 10 years ago is going to help what and how, exactly?

C’mon, you’re better than that. Give the bull in the China shop some bigger horns, all the better to destroy everything of value to its owners who wish to rule us. Give Trump continued control of the House, a bigger margin in the Senate and his enemies (and ours) a big, bloody nose in 2 weeks. Never forget that the GOP-E hates him at least as much as the Dems who would remake this country into Mexico North just to gain and maintain power and perks.

So help Trump, and yourself and us, by helping to remove or overpower all of the Bush Leaguers. Sitting around and bitching doesn’t fix anything. VOTE for crying out loud - if you can’t do something as easy and simple as that, WHAT WILL YOU DO, EVER?

When the PRC was admitted to the United Nations, wags said that we now had a China in the bull shop.

I vote in every election and worked to Cantorize the weasel Eric Cantor before he could betray US with the Rubio Gang of Amnesty bill in 2014.

What have YOU done?
Have you unseated any Bush League Republicans?
