We were promised border security in the 1986 Amnesty bill.
Then as a reaction to the rejection of the 2006 amnesty attempt, they passed the secure fence act.
When we rejected the next amnesty attempt in 2007, Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R-TX) used another bill to remove the funding for that fence.
BOTH parties have been pursuing a bipartisan policy of non-enforcement to force US into another amnesty that would spell the end of the rule of law and the Republic.

Bringing in new democrat voters is just an ancillary issue here, the main reason for Non Enforcement of our borders is to keep the War on Drugs in full swing. Millions of Government Employee Union Members Jobs and Careers depend on our Open Border where the Illegal drugs flow freely in to the US.
You Can NOT have a War on Drugs without Drugs, and if you think we are going to win this War on Drugs by building a Wall or Enforcing our Borders, you are just plain crazy, it will NEVER HAPPEN!!! At least half of ALL Police Officers and Government Employee's across this Country would be Unemployed tomorrow if we built the wall.
