Pennsylvania News
As of Friday, we officially surpassed the Democrats in the number of absentee ballots returned. We have made an incredible push over the last weeks, and look to continue over the last week to increase our margins. Compared to this point in 2014, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania has doubled absentee returns.
I cant comment on the sheet, but in general, Republicans have very good early voting turnout, except in states where they are running against a black - those states (FL & GA) have had high minority turnout the first few days, but there are signs it may be trailing off.
Well God bless him. I’ve been too lazy to breakdown party affiliation so I’m glad he does and LS does it.
What strikes me about Maine is the early vote in 2014 versus 2010. Dems did a bit better in 2014, yet LePage won by 29,000 votes compared to 9800 in 2010. Higher turnout in 2014, 624,000 versus 580,000. LePage probably won huge on election day. Which gives me hope for Poliquin. If the early voting is close he has a shot to get the win. Right now he trails by a few thousand. But I think early voting goes until the last Thursday before the election. If it’s close Poliquin should win CD2. Thank you again I’ll keep an eye on the breakdown.
So far, per this spreadsheet, AZ,KS,FL favoring GOP )+32%/13%/8% respectively.
CO is a draw, only 6 votes separating the parties.
MD, NM, WV, ME, IA, NC, CA, NV favoring DEMS: +36%/23%/16%/15%/14%/13%/7%/5%. Some of these races have very few early votes tabulated so far, though.
No data for states not mentioned above.
No. Most of these numbers by themselves are meaningless unless you know
1) a comparison with either 2014 or 2016
2) a state’s absentee/early voting pattern (do Ds vote absentee as in IA or is it Rs as in OH)?
Without that info, the spreadsheet is nice to have, but by itself pretty useless.
Great summary !!!
Thanks for posting that link!
Great link !!!
Partway down:
“9) Moreover, with the help of Freepers “Ravi” and “SpeedyInTexas” and “Ohio Wan” and “The Accountant” and others, I have found that DemoKKKrats are falling behind their 2016 performance”
Thanks LS, I’m trying to talk people down from a ledge who say the House is already lost. They watch too much bad cable news.
They should not release the early voting information.
Youll feel better after you vote. Personally, Im waiting for the 6th to cast my vote because Im not a fan of early voting.
Color VA Blue - Kaine is a shoo-in due to NOVA.
Iowa, New Mexico and North Carolina sway Dem with these numbers more than I would expect.
IA and NC went Red in 2016. NM turned Blue. If its better than 2016, theres hope.
I already returned my Maryland ballot. Not that it’ll count for much.
Very cool. Saw Savoy Brown once, when Kim Simmonds was around 65 yrs old(?), maybe. Still great slide guitar. Fun part was Foghat was the opening act with “Lonesome Dave”(previous lead vocal for Savoy Brown) singing lead. Kim Simmonds came out and played a couple of songs with them.
All early voting does is serve to tell the democrats how many fraudulent votes they need to manufacture to ensure they win.
