The Turkish government is no stranger to killing or imprisoning journalists. But the Democrats won’t raise a big stink about that, because the Turkish government is anti-American. Just about any anti-American government in the world will get favorable media coverage. The one temporary exception is Russia, because it serves as a useful stick to use against Trump. Without the Russia drumbeat, would Trump be underwater in the polls?
