Why don’t we now have 100,000 troops on our border?
That’s exactly what I think we should do too. Take Mexico over and run it like it should’ve been all these years and all illegals would want to stay there.
These people are being used, and it would be a mistake of epic moral, not to mention political, proportions to harm them in any way. It will cost more to the right thing for them and us, but it’s beyond being justified. Fly them back to their host countries. Shame the leadership of those countries for failing their own citizens. Tell them that if their citizens are persecuted, they will pay the price.

Look professor, you can spend the money to fly 7000 people back to their home country only to have them walk back again.
Secondly, their home country is already being shamed, threatened, and bribe to stop this from happening. It isn’t working.
Start by using tear gas, LRAD devices, rubber bullets, and other non-lethal means. Use lethal force if any are armed and violent.

Let it be known that all of them can enter into California. After all isn’t California a sanctuary state? Doesn’t the majority political party in California want open borders? Give it to them. I’m sure the minority leader would give up some of her area to care for these people - along with the Hollywood crowd. If Texas, New Mexico and Arizona don’t accept them, let them enter in California.

How is there no video footage showing what is really going on? Couldn’t the US tv crews notice how these people are travelling around (no freaking way are they travelling thousands of miles on foot, and where is their food and water coming from?

I remember the good old days when men, women and children sought refugee status due to extreme poverty....without each sporting a $700 iPhone.
Everybody keeps talking about immigration laws.
Guess what, they say anyone can come to our borders and apply for entry.
Doesn’t say they’ll be approved, but they can come and apply.

Can we please just, with compensation, seize all the land on the border we need to establish a permanent, 2,000 mile by whatever additional dimensions we need to place our largest domestic base and basic training along the border?
