As the final two weeks of campaigning begin, Democrats hold an edge in both the gubernatorial and Senate contests in the key state of Florida, according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS. Democratic nominee Andrew Gillum holds a wide 12-point edge over his Republican opponent Rep. Ron DeSantis in the race for governor, while the Senate contest is a closer matchup with incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson at 50% to Republican Gov. Rick Scott's 45%.

Yes this poll doesnt jive with reality at all, Gillum is up 12 like Hillary was going to win GA.
Heres the RCP
Does anyone really believe this guy opened 10 points in a week?
Push polling garbage
As of yesterday mail in ballots, Repubs were up 50K. Nuf said.
Here in sofl plenty of ads for Desantis. That being said plenty for the rat also.
That being said this poll is in an insult to any reasonable person.
We love the property we have. We have had enough of seasons. Lived in NH for over 35 years. We want to grow food all year round.
Plus, it won’t matter where in FL you live if this Marxist wins.
Good Lord, what the heck happened to FL?
I’m just hoping its a lie. Cant just be a mistake with those numbers.
The poll is worthy of my favorite jpeg about CNN:
Watch out for cheating. That’s my first thought when I see polls like this.
Meadow muffins.
5.56mm
This “poll” is a smokescreen for the vote fraud they expect to execute. When Gillum and Nelson win on a mountain of fraudulent votes, the cover will be that it matches the pre-election polls.
DeSantis is not running a good campaign.
You should have ran Adam Putnam.
Putnam was the better choice.
DeSantis is too conservative for FL.
Among the entire sample, 32% described themselves as Democrats, 29% described themselves as Republicans, and 39% described themselves as independents or members of another party
Dem +3%
Ind +10%
there is your margin of difference because Independent is democRAT by another name.
We have a 2nd home in Fort Lauderdale and we’re down here for just a few days. The only DeSantis ad I’ve seen is his wife telling everyone what a great guy he is. Sorry, that doesn’t do it. I saw a Gillum ad last night and the guy is smooth. We’re also being bombarded with ads about what lowlife Scott is and it’s from a guy wearing a Navy hat.
Ever since he was nominated and made the juvenile remark about “monkeying around,” DeSantis has run a dismal campaign. No surprised he may lose
“Poll was probably only people in the Miami Dade, Broward areas”
I would suspect the CNN newsroom :)

FNN knows no one would believe this about Scott’s race but they are lying their ass off to elect a communist in Florida - aint happening.
First early voting shows Republicans 51k returned ballots ahead.
Second and even more importantly, in their 15 primaries the Republicans out voted the Democrats who voted in their 17 primaries by 1.465 million voters. They didn’t get 1.465 million voters the Republicans got 1.465 MILLION MORE voters to the polls than the Democrat did.
Finally Hillary Clinton has a 95% chance of winning.
Agreed, this is very reminiscent of McCain and Romney when they ran against Obama.
