Yes, and all that is needed to solve the homelessness issue is more free stuff (housing, food, drugs, oh, and voting materials.)

“Is Seattle becoming North San Francisco?”

It already is

Twelve years ago, when I lived on an island right off downtown Seattle, I absolutely hated going into the city because there were so many bums. I was even accosted by a nice looking black woman INSIDE NORDSTROMs who was panhandling. The police just ignored the street people, no matter what they did. I hated Seattle then and can only imagine how much worse it is now. Nobody has the brains or smarts to clean up the @#$#( place.

Rudy Giuliani cleaned up NYC by going into the “troubled” neighborhoods and making arrests. He said that Seattle didn’t have the will to do that; they were soft on crime.

So who in the world wants to live in a place like that —and don’t forget the city council voted to pass a 10% income tax on anyone working in the city to help homeless people. I think it didn’t pass, but next time it probably will. Liberal madness creates absolute wreckage wherever it takes hold.

Probably life’s not so rosy for the homeless, either.

Maybe they should just #get-a-job from all of the excess opportunities that are begging to be filled.

The City Council is lead by reds so the people got who and what they voted for. The mayors have been Marxist fools, as have their governors, Senators and most Representatives.

Payback’s a “bitch” and its’ name is “sidewalk crap”.

Perhaps the next election year slogans for Seattle politicians should be, “Elect us. You ain’t seen real shit yet”.

The democrats are always doing something to interfere with others. They crate chaos.

In Los Angeles they have road diets where the city takes a away a lane and also blocks cars from parking. So far they have forced 21 business’s to close on Venice Blvd due to far fewer customers and have made traffic much worse.
Why? to add a bike lane and to force people onto buses and trains.
Meanwhile the politicians get free cars.

Seattle.

Yes it resides in King County, a democrat county which pretty much decides all state and federal elections

Here in Milwaukee they are taking a similar approach using a federal financed street car which runs in a loop of 4 blocks - they have made two way streets one way without actually making them one way as traffic backs up behind the street car at the stops and at the lights.

The few business along the multi-million dollar route are toast soon which a traditional Christmas parade had to be canceled because of the trolley on the parade route.

Seattle Businesses Owners Say The City’s Homeless Are Making It Hard For Them

You mean that the homeless aren't making it easier for them?! That the hard-working business owners don't view intinerants, vagrants, bums, tramps, hobos, panhandlers, street-people, drug-addicts, crazies, etc. as an asset to their communities?!

They don't like it when they defecate on their porches, urinate in their doorways, accost their paying customers, congregate by their store-fronts, damage their property, shop-lift, leave AIDS-contaminated needles on their playgrounds, etc.?!

Wow! Just... wow!

I never knew Seattlites could be so lacking in compassion!

Regards,

I live on the Olympic Peninsula and its about 2.5 hour drive to Seattle. I do my very best to stay out of that failed city.

It is run by democrats and it remains a Sanctuary city. For those two reasons alone there is no hope or reason to change anything over there. As long as its people keep voting for democrats, it can turn into a very large pile of human waste for all I care.
