Ill never forget the first time I voted.
It was way back in the, ahem, 20th century. I remember how proud I was to finally carrying out my civic duty and vote. I actually decided before Election Day to be a volunteer on one of the campaigns. A great man, Senator Frank Moss, had led the fight on so many issues I cared about: Medicare, Social Security, assistance for hospice care, money for special education. I signed up to help him.
Hed been in the Senate for 18 years. His challengers platform was pretty much that 18 years was too long to serve the good people of Utah. That candidate, Orrin Hatch, won. The same Orrin Hatch who has now been in office for 42 years. But that subject is for another time.
I was bitterly disappointed that my candidate did not win, but it just helped to mold me into the civic tsunami I became. I learned that the race is won by the people who show up and who get other people to show up.

By the way,
Early voting here starts Monday morning. I know where I will be.
This year, I’m so ready that I’m voting early. Straight GOP except for one Independent vote against P Bush.
NEA = NIA = National Indoctrination Association
Were all revved up and ready to kick the crap out of the RATS from coast to coast!
I didn’t want to create a post, but was watching Lou Dobbs who is as strident pro Trump as you can get. He reported with Ed Rollins that the House is close to lost, and the Senate wasn’t much better. Looked like we are on track to maybe pickup or lose 1 to 3 Senate seats. It was not a positive forecast.
We shall see.
Just filled out and sent back our requests for absentee ballots since we have no way to get to the polls.
I think we pick up 3-5 in the Senate and hold the House.
Whatever the results, the Dems are going to be more berserk than ever.
Hunker down and keep your powder dry, folks.
“Straight GOP except for one Independent vote against P Bush.”
But he’s the real conservative Bush ... I mean this time, for real, he’s the one true conservative you have to vote for if we are ever going to have a chance to win anything!
Signed,
GOPe Fearmonger
:-P /s
Im ready and it scares the liberals to death.
Got my ballot in the Mailbox today:)
I phoned the Supervisor Of Elections this afternoon. She said my mail in ballot would be mailed out by 5:00 P.M.
It’s fun watching the tears flow at the Javits Center from 2016, but it’s time for new tears from Liberals.
Our ballots went in the city hall drop box today. It’s all mail-n voting here in Washington but our rural mail carrier has a “co-exist” bumper sticker on her Jeep. She’s very nice and all that, but...
Typical Ed Rollins gloom and doom.
Was it this one?
As an invading army heads for our border, ABSOLUTELY
I already voted!
