Were his hands tied behind his back during the fist fight?

Swordsmanship is part of the Saudi culture. Not that long ago it was a British thing too.

Agreed. This situation is way over-hyped by the media, they are obsessed. Why would any of us really care? What is it that I am missing?

"He was probably a double agent and crossed the wrong side."

Probably a baby raper too. The Washington Post wouldn't hire him unless he was.

I agree except that, "I could couldn't care less."

"Khashoggi was a legal permanent resident of the US."

Didn't realize that. That definitely makes it our business.

But it's also our business because countries don't murder someone in their embassy. It wasn't our embassy, but it is in our interest to strongly discourage that behavior. Just like it's in our interest to discourage Russia from killing people in Britain.

It's our business, because anytime the Press is suppressed, it's bad news for the world. Just wish we would get the DNC's claws off our own press.

I don't know if he was a good guy or a bad guy. There's an article that was just posted that says he was in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood. He might have been a bad guy. But there's lots of bad guys in the press and we don't murder them, much less in our embassy.

On the other hand, the Saudi Prince seems to be bringing some positive reforms to Saudi Arabia. I say we stop short of trying to get him to step down.

Media is obsessed because they want to blame it on Trump. Everything is Trump’s fault. This media also includes Fox Snooze. Mr.Perfect I never criticized Obama for 8 years” Never Trumper Brett Baier is a sorry SOB, never missing a chance to badmouth Trump.

“He isn’t even a US citizen. I don’t understand why this is such a big issue and why the media is so obsessed.”

That’s the way I see it too. He wasn’t even on a Green Card. He was on a work visa. So, he was a Saudi national, killed in Turkey in the Saudi embassy. We don’t have a dog in this fight.

Fights don’t generally involve cutting off people’s fingers and beheading them. The fact is that the Middle East is a snake pit of epic proportions. There are no clean hands anywhere to be found, and yet we have to deal with somebody. I’m sure Trump would rather not have to deal with barbaric regimes but it is what it is. There are zero clean hands in this region.

Who cares how he died? He was bad news, very anti-Israel and busy trying to undermine or even overthrow the Prince who actually wants to get along with Israel. No wonder the leftist press has found their new hero.

“Where’s the body then?”

Fatalities in Saudi embassies are immediately dismembered, bones crushed, all remains dissolved in acid which is then neutralized with a strong base and flushed through the sewers; as a matter of routine.

Doesn’t everybody do this?

Here’s an American Journalist who won’t get any play from CNN who was killed in a racist attack. Died yesterday. Muslim is more important than Jew it appears.

This means the Saudi government lied to President Trump dozens of times previously.
