I know welders looking for work. They are American welders though. I wonder if these ***holes would consider hiring Americans.
The whole “Can’t find enough XXX workers” argument really means “Can’t find enough XXX workers willing to work for illegal Mexican wages”

Not if they have to pay them American wages.
They don’t want to pay the wages an American commands. They want experienced welders they can pay 15 bucks an hour instead of 25. Shameful.
It’s cheaper to hire illegal workers.
Welding isn’t hard to learn. Back in high school, the ag teachers wouldn’t allow me to help weld a trailer because it wasn’t seemly for a girl to do such but it was fine that I taught the boys to weld. Go figure.
