The first-ever museum exhibition focused on Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will open this Friday in Los Angeles.
Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, hosted at the Skirball Cultural Center, was co-organized by the creators of the meme comparing the Supreme Court Justice to the legendary rapper Biggie Smalls, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The exhibit will feature documents, photographs, home movies, art and other items honoring Ginsburg on the 25th anniversary of her appointment to the Supreme Court.
The exhibit is organized using Notorious B.I.G. lyrics like I got a story to tell and Stereotypes of a lady misunderstood, according to the Times.
It also features a number of interactive highlights for visitors, including a recreation of Ginsburgs childhood living room.
Ginsburg, long a feminist icon, has had a renewed spot in pop culture in recent years. A documentary, RBG, was released earlier this year, and the biopic On The Basis of Sex will be released this Christmas.
Skirball associate curator Cate Thurston told the Times that focusing an exhibition on Ginsburg felt particularly timely and important in the Trump era.
When we pitched this in 2016, it was a celebration of a feminist jurist who really embraces our core values, she said. And I think it is still all those things, but theres an urgency now to her message, and the message of the exhibition, which is work hard, stay the course, things will be difficult, but that doesnt mean theyre hopeless.
I heard that it was a sleeper.
In time for Halloween.
Seriously, RBG is an accomplished lady....who should retire.
They should do sleep studies there.
Wax museum?

The First Ever!!!
Geez, after all that work and they beat us to it. I’m sure dozens of other cities are also licking their wounds in defeat, having been edged out by the City of Angels.
Sounds interesting. I love ancient history museums.
Oh good! Home movies!
I always loved it when she was sitting on a park bench hitting the dirty old man with her purse!
adjusting my vacation schedule to attend this national treasure. Anyone posted a photo of her tomb yet?
This is brilliant satire, right?
Core values: perpetual slumber, never needing to pay any attention to the evidence presented.
Do they have a memorial in there to the 60 million aborted Americans who never got a chance to have life?
And isn’t opening on Christmas (the birth of a child)
a slap at Christianity (even if unintentional, some noise should be made about this, imho).
A Real Yawn.
Shouldn’t it be torn down because she was born during the civil war?
She showed up for the opening ..and no one knew if it was her or a wax figure.
Im just waiting for the day when she chokes on her oatmeal.
She had a fling with R.E.Lee.
