Special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly expected to present findings related to key aspects of his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election after this November's midterm elections.
Bloomberg News, citing a pair of unidentified U.S. officials, reported on Wednesday that Mueller is close to finalizing his inquiry into a pair of the most important aspects of his investigation.
One of the officials told the news outlet that the findings are related to whether President Trump's 2016 campaign colluded with Russia and if Trump obstructed justice during the probe.
The officials did not provide details on what those findings may include.
Bloomberg notes, however, that Mueller's findings on these questions may not be made public, adding that he can only present the findings to the Justice Department official overseeing his investigation, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
Rosenstein does have some discretion regarding what findings are issued to Congress and what revelations can be publicly released.
The news comes about three weeks away from what could be pivotal midterm elections, as Democrats hope to seize on opposition to Trump to retake the House and possibly the Senate.
Rosenstein has reportedly made it clear to Mueller that he wants the investigation to end as soon as possible.
Trump has repeatedly railed against the probe, referring to it mainly as a partisan "witch hunt." Questions have arisen regarding whether Trump would go so far as to shut down the investigation.
But he said in an interview on Sunday that he has "no intention" of taking that step.
Well, I dont pledge anything, Trump told "60 Minutes." But I will tell you, I have no intention of doing that. I think its a very unfair investigation, because there was no collusion of any kind.
for what it's worth...
If they had anything it would be leaked before the midterms.
Midterm results will determine which report Mueller produces...
Since he is saying after the kids..does he think their may be a major shift in the poliical winds..something a kind to a wave?
Not having anything will not stop the leaked “officials close to the investigation reported on condition of anonymity...”
Skids=mids
“If they had anything it would be leaked before the midterms.”

You can be sure even tho there’s no “there there” the media will be cranking out conjecture and anonymous sourced stories that “something is there”. i.e. expect fake news about it before the mid-terms anyway.
I'm beginning to wonder if Rosenstein has even allowed Trump to see the FISA docs that he promised to "immediately declassify". I seriously doubt that Trump has an idea what's inside them. He lets Rosenstein decide what is released.
The collusion was all on the Democrat side, but that was not investigated.
they’ll leak false news of indictments against DJT and everyone around him. they’ll probably start tomorrow — or perhaps just a few days before the midterms.
p
Honest report: “It was all a frame that we built. I discussed the idea with McCabe, Hillary, Rodney and Brennan and we all agreed we could overthrow this guy with our fake charges”.
Likely report: “We couldn’t find the evidence that Trump obviously buried so well. We know he’s dirty cuz BadVlad said so”.
The key finding will be that the whole thing was a hoax.
IOW, he found nothing, nada, zip, zero. No way is he going to let that out before the election.
Comey listed every crime Hillary committed and then he said, 'I can't find intent'.
The Mueller report will be, 'I can't find any crimes committed by Trump but there are still unconfirmed rumors and allegations that I can't disprove.'
Still just under three weeks to go before the midterms.
If they had anything it would be leaked before the midterms.

That was my first thought. If it was damning to Trump and hurt republicans by association, they’d release it before. Thusly, it must be relatively positive. Even if it doesn’t absolve Trump or his cabinet, a long and boring report not establishing anything real or cite-worthy is good for Trump because it quiets the criticism
“The officials did not provide details on what those findings may include. “
which means they have nothing because if they had something they would have provided details...
Trump holds the ace...DECLASSIFICATION!
Yep, that is what I was thinking. ANYTHING that could have influenced a voter would have already been out.
