RUSH: I want you to hear the standing ovation the Turtle got. This would never have happened I dont know how long its been since Mitch McConnell was greeted with this kind of love and respect and excitement by a Republican audience anywhere. But Donald Trump brought him on the stage at a MAGA rally in Richmond, Kentucky, on Saturday thanking the Turtle for standing firm on Kavanaugh. And listen to the reaction.
Trump says Mitch McConnell "Kentucky tough"
THE PRESIDENT: Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell. Come up here!
CROWD: (loud cheers)
RUSH: George Will is watching this and just unable to control himself. Wait a minute. Keep Stick with it here, folks. The Turtle is gonna speak here in a minute.
MCCONNELL: Thank you, Kentucky. Arent we proud of President Trump?
CROWD: (cheers)
RUSH: Right on! How long do you think its been since Mitch McConnell got that kind of a reception at a political event? I dont think hes gotten a reception like that even on an election night victory party that hes had. And Im gonna Im gonna Im gonna go out on a limb and say, you know, Mitch might have liked that. Everybody likes that, especially people that are unaccustomed to it. And everybody in the world knows that it was the Trumpster that made approximate happen.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: By the way, at that rally on Saturday night, Kentucky, Trump did remind McConnell that that ovation was because of Trump. But thats okay. Mitch still got it. It was legitimate and Im sure he appreciated it. (interruption) No, no, no, Trump should not have called her Horseface in the 60 Minutes interview. No, no, no, no. Dont just take what you get and be thankful for it. Okay? Dont ask for more.
every time someone looks at Stormy from now on they will picture a horses face on that horses ass
I think the remaining NeverTrumpers are going to get VERY lonely.
Come on board Mitch. No reason to be scared anymore.
You have a leader at the helm.
That trip to the podium might just have pushed McConnell a little further than he ever thought. Seeing and hearing the passion, hope and pride those people have for the President and the country. It’s not too late for McConnell to become a major part in it, if he chooses to. He has about a year left, to ram the America First agenda down the throat of every Democrat in Congress. Then ride the wave into President Trump’s second term and then hand it all off to the next guy and know that you helped make it happen.
OR
Get run over by the Trump Steamroller and go away in shame, like Flake and Ryan will.
Amen to that. Ryan proved to be a loser. But, whatever his limitations, Yertle learned that tickets to ride the Trump train are always available. Glad to have him on board.
I wonder if Mitch knows what his most common nicknames are?
There are at least two; The Turtle and Cocaine Mitch.
Cocaine Mitch was given to him by a politician Don Blankenship.
90 pounds ($7 Million Dollars) of cocaine had been discovered aboard a vessel owned by Foremost Group; founded and owned by Mitch McConnell’s father-in-law James Chao.
Blankenship said Mitch had connections to his “China Family”.
The remarks did not help Blankenship during the Primaries.
Trump is a GENIUS! Not only that... he’s a “political” genius.
McChicom, the rinos & neverTrumpers of the GOP, haven’t changed one bit. They’ve just uped their kabuki acting skills They still love the swamp and want Trump gone.
He’s been laying an egg for years.
President Trump is slowly but surely SEDUCING his former “anti’s” into the #MAGA column.
Every time I think I know how smart he is, I find out I underestimated our President.
People are just People.
Mitch sees a leader that won’t back down to anything.
It’s nice to see these times.
The bodies of 29 coal miners, a Federal conviction and a year in Club Fed prolly had a bit more to do with his primary defeat, but what would I, a dumb West Virginian know about it.
The only thing that has changed is the gullibility of the IDIOTs amongst us who believe their crap
Yay Cocaine Mitch!
