That trip to the podium might just have pushed McConnell a little further than he ever thought. Seeing and hearing the passion, hope and pride those people have for the President and the country. It’s not too late for McConnell to become a major part in it, if he chooses to. He has about a year left, to ram the America First agenda down the throat of every Democrat in Congress. Then ride the wave into President Trump’s second term and then hand it all off to the next guy and know that you helped make it happen.

When he took the stage and looked around, he was momentarily stunned at the crowds cheering & adulation and perhaps thought "wow, so this is what real fame, popularity & being loved feels like! Compared to the daily crap & struggles in DC with the democrats, I could get used to this!"

So yeah, all this time he's been used to being weak and slow and thus earning the title as Mc.Turtle. But in a rare instance when it was crunch time, he delivered and stiffened his backbones in resolve and along with girly man Graham, they surprised the entire country and the mean cabal of senate democrats who was piling on to Judge Kavanaugh.

What Mitch experienced is on par with what Doc Johnson got when he spoke to the crowd of Afghan refugees in Pakistan as depicted in the movie Charlie Wilson War.

He may have been a lifetime bureaucrat before, but after facing & talking to the crowds he was a changed man and he was critical to securing all the funds from to defeat the Russians.

He is a key player in completing Trump's continuing agenda to get this country back on track, but he needs a massive infusing of fire in his bones and to become alive again.
