Even the notoriously liberal and internationalist BBC concedes that President Trump has been scoring one political victory after another. Let's hope that Trump uses this political momentum to get funding for the border wall.

Politically, it has been the most fun month of my life (I’m 64). Even more fun than November of 2016.

No ... that will be next month.

It is at the moment but the open borders crowd and cheap-labor express are scheming to dump thousands of people at the border just in time for the election.

Had he fired his deputy attorney general, we could have been in the midst of a full-blown constitutional crisis, with historical echoes of Richard Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre in October 1973. So here's the thing. He fired the FBI director and that got him a Special Counsel investigation. If he fires the guy who' recommended firing the FBI director and is now overseeing the Special Counsel it's a full blown constitutional crisis. And if he fires the guy who recused himself and has no connection to the Special Counsel, that is also a full blown constitution crisis because ... reasons.
Basically the DOJ is now enshrined as it's own independent entity that neither the President nor Congress can oversee. Sounds like a great idea, right?
