The purpose is to let any and all know that this man will fight back. He does not care if you are a minority or a woman or what ever. You get in the ring with Trump and he will not hold back, he will fight you to the end.
For way too long the left have been able to make progress by going after anyone that opposes them. They would use individuals from the “protected class” to be their front line soldiers knowing the average person would be reluctant to fight back.
Trump does not just want to win the battle, he wants his enemies to know that he will kick them when they are down.
