A retired history professor from Grinnell College and feminist announced that she wishes that “all men were dead” in a column for the Washington Post over the weekend. Retired history professor Victoria Bissell Brown published a bizarre column in the Washington Post on Friday in which she detailed an outburst she had at her husband that included her wishing for the death of all men.
I yelled at my husband last night. Not pick-up-your-socks yell. Not how-could-you-ignore-that-red-light yell. This was real yelling. This was 30 minutes of from-the-gut yelling. Triggered by a small, thoughtless, dismissive, annoyed, patronizing comment. Really small. A micro-wave that triggered a hurricane. I blew. Hard and fast. And it terrified me. I’m still terrified by what I felt and what I said. I am almost 70 years old. I am a grandmother. Yet in that roiling moment, screaming at my husband as if he represented every clueless male on the planet (and I every angry woman of 2018), I announced that I hate all men and wish all men were dead. If one of my grandchildren yelled something that ridiculous, I’d have to stifle a laugh.
The column, which is entitled “Thanks for not raping us, all you ‘good men.’ But it’s not enough,” reads like a passive-aggressive rant from the type of unhinged ideologue that makes most rational people think twice before self-identifying with the “feminist” label.
Brown topped the insanity of her first paragraph with her second. In it, Brown berates her husband for doing exactly what feminists have repeatedly asking men to do over the past year: listen to women.

How does that hag stay with any man?
As a man and a father, the time to teach your son to behave like a gentleman; with honor, honesty, and respect, for your fellow human being(female or male) is from the day they are born, to the day they go out the door forever.
There are men and women both, who deserve neither honor nor respect; those are the ones you try to steer clear of.

I raised 2 kids (1 boy, 1 girl), human children are easy compared to puppies and even adult dogs.

Then look up the Salem Witch Trials for another episode in US history a group of feminists were this unhinged. Then look up Prohibition to see yet another episode.
But to say that you both adjure having children and there is nothing medically wrong with either of you? Something smells funky in there imho.
And that about sums up today’s feminism.
That’s just not right.
Shouldn’t it be that she wishes all men dead. Because it hasn’t happened, it’s still in the future.
He might be a feminist. But she is also an idiot.
When one such as her hates herself, she also hates everyone else and wants to blame everyone but herself...her meltdown if probably part of Trump Effect...

I wonder if this person realizes that she has serious emotional and psychological issues that she has not resolved in her life. All of us out here in the peanut gallery sure do. She is filled with rage always looking for somewhere to vent, and her husband sounds like her target of choice. I wonder what she would say about a husband who always vented his free-floating rage at his wife, and using her as his whipping boy.
I bet her husband is willing to start digging right now.
