Latinos, on the other hand, had genes that were on average 65.1 percent European, 18 percent Native American, and 6.2 percent African. The researchers found that European-Americans had genomes that were on average 98.6 percent European, .19 percent African, and .18 Native American.
These broad estimates masked wide variation among individuals. Based on their sample, the resarchers estimated that over six million European-Americans have some African ancestry. As many as five million have genomes that are at least 1 percent Native American in origin. One in five African-Americans, too, has Native American roots.

My granddaughter has 1% Northern African and 5% Middle Eastern. I’m pretty sure she got those from her Spanish ancestry. She’s also 15% Native American (Elizabeth eat your heart out).
As for me, I just have an abundance of white privilege.
This article was from 2014. Just posted it to show that almost everyone in America has a very small amount of Native American blood. And that Warren has even less that most.
Stop counting genes. Stop handing out free gifts and privileges based on genes.

There is about a 75 year gap in my genealogy from about 1845 to about 1920. Traditional research tools have revealed nothing verifiable for that time period. I have thought about DNA testing too see if it might lead to information. I came to my senses though and decided against testing when I remembered the rumors of a clan of horse thieves and and white slavers in the family as told by my grandfather.
Sure why not. I took the test and came back 99.9% Northern European/English, Scottish and Irish.
It would sound like I am out of luck but for the scull of Kennewick Man from Washington State that clearly shows that English, Scots and Irish predated "Native" Americans by more than 10,000 years.
So its past time for the federal government to make good on reparations and buy me a casino.
